They are so fragile that no self respecting force in the world uses them in actual combat, they are mostly meant for civilian plinking and mostly mounted on 22 lr rifles or used by airsofters because they are so cheap.
Well you are not completely right, who said they are not used in combat? Such open hud red dots are used as offset/canted sights with magnified optics if not as a primary sight.

🤦 dude those are completely different optics. They are from reputed brands, have way higher built quality, they also have long battery life.
this is the best optic made by them and they dont even come close to a budget red dot made in china by sig.

Well Indian Army will not have allowed him to mount an airsoft optic purchased on Amazon, obviously must’ve been purchased by Army for some reason, who knows that it is a milspec product and we are bitching here for no reason 🤷🏻.

Idk if its OT or not, but consider this, i've found a few photos of US SOFs (most probably SEALs) using bump helmets without any attachments that too in a live fire enviornment, can anyone tell why ?

In third pic, the ones wearing all of the eqpt are greek commandos, also notice the guy wearing sentry cap under his helmet lol
Easy- the SEALs here are wearing these helmets for mountain warfare (ie these are instead of ski helmets)

the Greeks are conducting boarding exercises at sea

How does this excuse PARA SF walking around with bump helmets in the freaking desert?
