Well if you look at the amount of guns they have and correlate that to their gun deaths, its not that bad.
Far more people die of tobacco and alcohol abuse.

It is better for CQB for controlling the gun, IMO you still need grips for those SiGs. In USA your Standard issue M4A1 has a foregrip, a 4X ACOG and AN/PEQ-15 while in India it’s only SiG-716 nothing else.
