It's been in works for long now, from 2020 I believe. For the units that got inspired by marcos in kashmir, they're procuring literally the same equipment except for Plate carriers.

He belives that attacks on security forces will increase so they'd have to be vigilant at all times and violence will be mostly targetted in forest areas since terrorists are not getting much support in urban areas. That will continue to happen. I think the most we could see is use of Urban snipers like in Northern Ireland, Kosovo, Serbia etc. Because the scale of urban attacks like they used to be prior to 2019 are going to decrease.

Insurgency has been stopped, terrorism cannot. They will come and we would have to kick ass but atleast the scale of violence has decreased far less now
