Does anyone have any info on how we choose the Carl gustav in the 90s as it was a great choice!

I think for our portfolio it was a really smart move..so anyone got any back story?

Our current class of officers and decision making is otherwise
How would u rate procurement of Patka Helmet in early 2000s?

Inducted in the late 70s actually, we started with the M2 model. It was simple, yet revolutionary and reliable, came with HE, flechette, smoke, HEAT, could neutralize anything from soft cover, light vehicles, armor, MG nests, bunkers, pillboxes 500-600 meters away. Ammo was finless and had good storage life, IA particularly loved the rifled barrel and zero recoil. It had a longer effective range than the RPG-7 while being more lethal and versatile. Enough that IA was willing to deal with the heavier weight on the M2 and M3 models.
