The really disturbing part is that this kind of kit associated with western SF, such as high cut helmets, noise cancelling communication headsets, compact BPJ's, NVG's and fully accessorized rifles are now becoming standard equipment for regular troops in most of the advanced militaries. Hell, even the average Russian and Ukrainian regulars are now fighting with such equipment, as seen from the majority of combat footage from both sides. So this isn't some western bisleri luxury stuff anymore, it's just standard kit for a soldier in the 2020s.

And here we have our SF who aren't deployed with this stuff, leave alone our regular infantry. All the while we already have a number of domestic companies who can make these in large quantities.

wtf !
is this the case in whole army or just few officers,?
and our army doesn't have any ptsd rehabilitation thing?
Yup this is the main issue soldiers with PTSD never go and seek help. And the sad thing is people will gobble this up and not even question it.years of mental studies just disproven with a simple no πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ but things seems to be changing now as I have seen many veterans saying about PTSD in a positive note and how it is an serious issue

Ask guys who have served in peak of militancy, due to whom we have a good int, support and structure of CI grid in valley and northeast in which offcrs like this man could serve their tenures smoothly. Not ridiculing him but he should try to be more sensitive about these issues.

How many sane sensible and mature comments have you seen in podcasts?

Indian podcasters don't know what questions to ask

If a right guy was on the opposite seat, that Dostcast interview would have been a lot different, sensible even.........

Only person who does a podcast of Vets in acceptable standards is PR Ganapati, but his channel gets less than 1000-2000 views in most of his videos

There is a veteran on this forum - on this very thread - who has said the same thing.

It's a recurring theme that the army genuinely believe.

A Young man cannot make a Col talk loose.
Not about talking loose, but being some technical

>How did you get into the army
>Motivation
>Anecdotes from the academy
>Combat experience (very non technical and simple)
>Some random shiiet about weapons and stuff
>Retirement
>Present stuff
>General motivation for youngsters

Who goes outside of this spectrum in the Indian podcasting space?

higher standard questions any youngsters can ask, the col chest thumping about 'noooo IndIaN aRmeE doesn't hAvE PTsDddddd vrooo' or being consice about it is his choice

I wonder what mission they are training for here, they are very lightly equipped so it appears to be direct action?

the interesting part is seeing the numbers, you don’t see Garuds training on this scale much and it doesn’t match much of their roles (CSAR, TAC etc)

+ the airforce’s own β€˜SF’ not knowing not to point your freaking rifle up in a helicopter (where all the vital systems are located), I mean what can you say? Professionalism and common sense is not a cultural trait Indians can claim to have in many sectors. Even Western infantry get this basic stuff drilled into their heads from day 1

I mean aese bhi log exist karte hain
As if he doesn't know or our establishment doesn't know that such missions are damn risky and things can go deep south
Such bogus reasons are nothing but playing with lives of both personnel and people
muh diplomatic air mission at unguarded airstrip in the middle of bum nowhere in the dark of night in a warzone rescuing stranded people. I have also done exfart ANALysis of this mid quality photo and have exfartly deduced the soldiers are carrying pistols behind their innocent shirt creases at a very brown carry position. oh no guys guys we are operating from foreign soil like every other fukin country but for some reason they only have issues with our forces being heavily armed for a rescue mission from a conflict zone.
