The amount of time choppers saved them along with the combined NATO soldiers is too many to count.

It’s indeed political and why the Indian Government is a joke of the world who wants to make peace with everyone and shoot its soldiers in the back. They did this in 1948, with the one month peace agreement in June which banned offensive operations. They did this in 1962. In Lanka.
