PC: Northern command IG
Lol yeah I just noticed the PX4 Storm, they might be special forcesI thought sf by looking at the combat tshirt and pants, black bpj, nvg, pistols
Black plate carriers, why?
Are those SF?
Ise zameen asmaan ka farak kehte haiBlack plate carriers, why?
SF or not the gap in training and equipment between the Indian and Australians is hilarious
if these are SF it shows how little the IA thinks of them that they have them inter train with conventional units.
there’s a reason most western SF veterans never talk about Indian SF, you can’t take them seriously with stunts like this.

These pics were release by SW command, and iirc 10 PARA sf comes under Southern commandYes, 99% sure they are 10 para sf
They are SF. Almost certainly.Lol yeah I just noticed the PX4 Storm, they might be special forces

I think some personnel from the 1st or 2nd Commando Regiment were involved. Otherwise COMTACs and C-clamping seem too good for any vanilla infantry, even top tier militaries.
I thought this was an infantry level exercise not sf
Also I'm guessing the whole mono colour combat shirt and pant vibe is limited to international exercises. What a shame that Para SF has decent personal protection gear and still what is used in ops is appalling.

Where the existing sf capabilities can't be met
If u r decimating airborne and converting them into sf then they have to take care of their capabilities as its their decision
Right now situation is like either give all para battalions sof capabilities or give them any any name and keep them as airborne with respective capabilities and raise a new unit for true sof requirement
Until then our army doesn't consists of sof or any unit of that capability
On what basis did you choose 1,4,9,10,21?
For me 1 4 9 10 21 are true sf make rest sf units airborne no need of converting airborne to sf . Army should focus on these 5 units give them whate they from gunship to Pistol
Someone said "Sf can't be mass produce " if they are then they are just Airborne
The kind of Experience these 5 Para SF units have their equipment profile should be like European Sof
But in reality most experienced unit in India is most ill equipped one
I like the olive greenSo this Israeli type uniform is gonna be standard Para uniform?.. from SFTC to exercises
