New rfi for snipers may indicate that army is moving from marksman rifles to snipers
This only matters if you have the training to go along with it. Sniping is a very very specialist capability, you don’t just buy the rifle and you’re a sniper.

Does india have even one sniper school? NSG maybe has the closest thing to one

I think last year or this year there was a news regarding sniper training something the preliminary 3 weeks then secondary something I clearly don't remember
U could also check legateIN tweets regarding it
I think new sniper course is being introduced so changes are occurring

Major Avinash on this very thread himself said that all 5.56 NATO Ammunition of the PARA SF is imported from abroad, considering that you are associated with him, it’s expected that ideally you’d know this better and we expect a higher standard of information from yourself.
Not all the ammunition is imported. I am speaking on behalf of Major Avinash Sahani only. I am his brother.

The first operator has some holder pouch (black) at the back of his vest. Is it for SDRs?
I think that is how he sets up his vest. In CQC, the points man always has an extra mag pouch and a grenade on the back of his PC for use by the guy behind him.

Well Major Avinash would say differently

This discussion will never move foreword if we have to keep defending the indefensible

Some people need to grow up
I never argued that dedicated sniper rifles with longer ranges engagement ranges shouldn't be acquired nor do I disagree with the gentlemanly Major, merely saying that the Galatz is called Sniper rifle by the manufacturer themselves and one would be correct to call it a sniper rifle or a DMR.
Since apparently 'white, privileged real amriki SF' would laugh at us poor malnourished African rag tag militia infantry for calling it a sniper rifle. Atleast our brown asses can Google directly to manufacturer website and clarify the terminology.

Our rag tag militia already has dedicated sniper rifles namely Sako TRG 42, .338 lapua magnum, perhaps one of the best in class.
And hard hitting Barrett M95.50 cal BMG, a fine weapon by all standards.

You need a dose of Optimisium, it will not only make you feel better but your dick will have more energy. Too much negative energy is a recipe for limp dicks.

Better stance than anything we have seen before ,way better then 3 para sf old video.
Also in vtac wall, first Indian guy was too close to the wall in 5th hole which would have made it difficult for him to shoot but malfunction happened but second Indian guy(with TW EBH) was really good with whole vtac drill , Are both from same units or different units,
P.S Thats just my noob opinion , Senior member please correct me if I am wrong.
The First video commentary was good hehe
