Do u have idea why are they more inclined towards square cut rather than shooter cut
Moreover these products are good but costly if govt is not providing these products then atleast they should subsidies and pay some part of the money too much for an officer to bear
Lack of Shooter Cut plates with their units is the reason, that’s why Armasen has now collaborated with some Indian 3rd party manufacturers of plates to offer them together to the customers from Armed forces and law enforcement agencies.

Impressed by this officer, one of the few times I’ve listened to an entire interview and haven’t cringed at something they’ve said. He seems very humble and self aware

I’m also impressed about the reflections he has on the capabilities SF. He summarised perfectly what many have been saying for years- india has fallen well behind in accruing capabilities and DMR is not sniping. I don’t think I’ve ever heard any Indian official even utter the term DMR before or make the distinction also he spoke about the ballistics perfectly. A shame guys like this don’t make it to the top but it’s clowns that sanction ridiculous efforts

+ the hand to hand comment was spot on- it says a lot about how Indians are conditioned by Bollywood nonsense and even the demos that some security forces put on that they think SFs are ninjas.

Nevertheless, Indian troops do have good experience engaging in hand to hand fights throughout their wars and even in COIN ops

Yea..i remembered you at that time. When i met him i raised the same point and he agreed.

We dont have that capability..And he said one more important thing..that for ego people wont accept.

Same story here on this thread.
one thing I would have to pick is his comment about monocular NVG. It’s nonsense that binocular NODs will cause you to be night blind for 20 mins if you lift them up. Your rods and cones adjust to darkness within a few seconds.

If this is the justification for keeping monocular NODs with Paras then god help us.

Flat-top Tar-21 with what looks to be a Para SF operator wearing an Armasen Square Cut SF RIG, para cord bracelet and battle belt.
I donno man, those quick release belt buckle type mechanism on these carriers feel like jugaad, atleast MKU has proper QD mechanisms, and laser cut molle too.
Feels like Armasen is cutting cost, their carriers for marcos too were underwhelming.

Conversation I had last year on Twitter regarding the use of Conventional vs Laser Cut MOLLE with whoever handles their SM account.

Ig if someone wants Laser Cut MOLLE they’ll probably have to pay a premium for it if they don’t offer it as standard.

Regarding the QR mechanism do you have a video of the release mechanism of the one you showed of MKU vs the one on the SF RIG? I’ve never seen either work in real life so can’t tell how one’s better than other. Hey, but if the AT one works well then ig it’s worth it as they have commonality with their battle belts.

CEO or Chiefs of any company or organization are chutia of the company.

In my experience of corporates i have understood C stands for Chutia.

No morals..no ethics..just throat deep sucking.

Hence such people dont make it to the top anywhere.

Most organisations aren’t true meritocracies. There’s a degree of having to play the game to get ahead, it definitely seems apparent in many corporate settings and the military too
