I took a complete review of it and photos in detail, But i am afraid the design is not ready and will surely attract unnecessary bad remarks from beginning.
Sir, Please sir, atleast put one pic of it. We are eagerly waiting see this new sniper rifle.

At first glance, The rifle look solid, The requirement given by user to put in wood stock, It has a nice bipod and p-rail for placing a 10X optics, It got adjustable cheek raiser and rubber pad at butt-stock, Its bolt action rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm, It comes with its own muzzle breaker and suppressor, The design is finished and in user trails but, The design may change and specs in time to come based on user feedback.

The rifle chambered for 7.62x51mm NATO rounds, It feature a 8cm long P-rail for placing its optical scope of 10x magnification for sniping role, Due to p-rail other optics can as well fit on to it, The rifle requirement set out in late 2015 by Army and paramilitary.

The rifle feature a adjustable cheek raiser and a rubber pad at its butt-stock so does sling attachment, The stock is made out of wood at request of users, The requirement is for a heavy rifle which can absorb recoil unlike those light designs made of fiber in new generation sniper rifles. The rifle yet to see many improvement over this original design in time.
There you go, I have lot more of it but will wait and took more in time to come when this design will mature in time .. :)

Awesome and thank you sir. The design seems to be pretty neat and user friendly. Any specific reason for wooden finish ? Otherwise good work done. I believe that the production vatiant might not be wooden.

Kunal sir, any specific reason for the requirement of a wooden stock?

The 'Indi'genization is down to the core.

Thanks @Kunal Biswas for posting this..... :)
IMO one change which we would see in future would be the change of grip. I think it would get a bit small and the Forestock would become much sleek. But these all are only my guess work.

Very sleek design but the wood has got to make this rifle ungodly heavy, polymor is desperatly needed.

+ good to see the Drugnovs being replaced by a designated sniper rifle, not a designated marksmen rifle that the Drugnov is. IA needs to place more emphasis on sniper teams, they are true force multipliers in the battlefeild.

Snipers play a valuable part in targeting the morale of the enemy troops. Counter snipers will be employed by enemy eventually. But a sniper is far off from what a regular infantry soldier can fight. The kill envelope of the sniper is invincible when he is targeting a regular infantry. It sends shivers down the troops when they hear "sniperrr".

Recent killings of our soldiers at the LOC or IB consists of attacks by Pakistani snipers. We do need snipers and counter snipers.

The 'Indi'genization is down to the core.

Not just that but the value of sniper teams in collecting information and providing overwatch over their unit is immense.

Wood is what IA has insisted on. Moreover few days back a batch of AR had to be taken back and polymer butts were replaced with wood as far as news goes.
Now wood sure does add up a bit of weight, but its far more reliable then polymer in adverse weather condition. Moreover polymer furnishing for AR or Carbines are a priority, but for a Sniper rifle, IMO wood too is as good as full polymer furnishing.
