You’d have to go to the 1960s/70s to find US SWAT type teams as poorly equipped as this

Some of them don’t even have ACHs (why are they in green and not matching the rest of their kit?), no sights or torches on ANY weapon, no specialist equipment ( flashbangs, breaching equipment), I don’t think any even have spare ammo, no comns, no ballistic eyewear etc etc

This is the best a nuclear nation with a $3TN economy that has been hit by terrorist attacks ok a near yearly basis for decades can do? What an embarrassment

I may be able to provide bullet proof vests from the US to Indian police forces but I don't have any contacts in India. Anybody know how I could potentially set this up? I can also see if any American cops I know would be willing (definitely would be) to institute training programs for Indian Police, who quite frankly seem like they have no training at all

Police should only start using Army Camo Patterns and Uniforms ones they are decommissioned from service. If the Police, Assam Rifles and Army all have the same Camo and uniform it is super difficult to differentiate each unit from the other and it will create a lot of problems. Maybe except for the Police the Army and Assam Rifles don’t even have identification Patches or Unit Name Plate on the left chest. I don’t understand why Police and Military units In India copy each other off instead finding something that is unique which can fit the terrain or environment were they operate on.

I think those use Ceramic plate inserts which can stop most Pistol Rounds. By US standards this Vest could be between Level 2A and Level 3 Protection.
