Women SWAT for VIP Protection roles, Indian Law asks that only a female can arrest the other female so if a accused is female they will be useful. There could me potentially more of such roles apart from the Regular PR one they will definitely take up.

SWAT fills variety of roles, they are "on paper" supposed to be used to arrest the Terrorist and all too, enough usability for them. Also VIP Protection in the sense for a special event not Personal Protection.

But in that role they are still only acting as an intervention unit, there’s no justification for an all woman SWAT unit. More women should be involved in police service but for these specialised units it’s absurd. I dont think its all woman swat team, they have men too, while i agree they need to have more men, but the Females do have a position in Law Enforcement even in Kinetic ones.

Look up all the reports- they are ALL WOMAN teams, being mixed would be one thing (still a capability downgrade) but this is the part that proves this is purely tokenism and has nothing to do with meeting a need or enhancing fhe force’s abilities.
