yup, not sure about Nano inducting but TVS Apache RTR for city patrolling, Highway patrolling vehicles are Toyota Innova and CBR..
Nano is a good idea to patrol narrow lanes of city. Provides protection from weather and narrow enough to get into by-lanes.

In Chandigarh, Police uses vehicles like Reva and Golf carts in areas like Sector 17. Might prove useful in areas you are talking about. They are also green

Indian policemen are mostly rogues in uniform. According to Amnesty International report, at least 10 people are killed in police custody every day. Torture is common in police stations. Cops harass innocent people and feel good about themselves - it is all about power. These cops dont have the guts to go after real criminals - instead they take bribes from them. But ask them to slap a helpless girl, they will. And feel powerful. Horrible people.
I did not know you are a beat constable in India.

Not happy with your posting at Grant Road, Mumbai?

I ask you since you seem to be an expert on girls (and slapping to get your way).
