well, I have read lots of india medias recently and find that those Indian medias are full of panic for the recent US-China joint statement, because the jointl statement agrees to "support the improvement and growth of relations between India and Pakistan" .

such panics are everywhere....

for example:

"What India will do If US and China tells India to give Kashmir to pak and Arunachal to China?????"

"By recognizing that Tibet is part of China, he have a beitch slap on India's face.

USA has taken a 180 degree turn on its affairs with India.

We officially have China as our northern neighbour"
What Obama and Hu agreed upon in Beijing: Rediff.com India News
and

Indian elites and experts like KS doesn't understand anglo-saxons. They are doing right thing by doing partnership with China. Two powers need each other to grow and keep their kingdoms.

Indian elites are totally wrong if they think India has arrived or is a "power". Its long way behind. I think they know it and crib about missed years.

Let me explain why "reality" is different from what most Indian elites like to think.

China has a youth much more inclined towards national services(both through force and will) compared to India(a victim of brain-drain). China is busy using its western educated youths to its own advantage and also has better R&D universities campuses than India which are not known in Indian media. This benefits china more that elites in India are unaware of technological advancements in China. They still live in delusional mode that china is about "copy" and "piracy".

That was true 20 years back. Not anymore. Such piracy stories were made to keep American kids into delusions, as part of perception management exercise in US corporate controlled media.(Same propoganda machine which was used to play-down Russian technology achivements, advancements from American public during 70's,80's). But now, USA has realised that China is not dying down and she has to accept rise of China which is genuine. So, even US media has started spilling the beans to american public and thats why we are seeing so many americans crying about sudden fear of China which they never expected!

The problem with Indian media elites is, they feed Indian public Western media stories since long but they have to forgot to update public about real china, who is technologically superior than India and has more skilled engineers than India. Indian public still think china education is all poor-quality thing. Its not so anymore.

Structurally speaking China is on a much more solid foundation than India in terms of superpower status.

First thing India needs to do is,
A) Bring a change in Indian psyche and change this "chalta hai" attitude.
Stop asking USA help on PAkistan and KAshmir. Solve it yourself, puppet!.
C) Make it compulsary for IIT-ians to work within India for atleast 4 years after they graduate.

These three would change India a lot. Learn from China.

Don't be jealous if your competitor(China) is more advanced. Rather appreciate and learn from it. The day Indians start doing so, will be good humble start towards getting ourselves ready. Honesty is lacking from Indian polity, rather fundoos have taken over policies, who lack senses.

Same fundoos(Indian policymakers) send their kids to western colleges and take pride in it. A characteristic of puppet country. Its similar to how small almost bankrupt African countries send their officers and kids to study in Indian colleges. Where chinese policymakers send their kids?

Those who have senses and courage appreciate their competitors, make friendship and learn their tactics, secrets.(which is what Obama is doing with China).

Indian policymakers and elites as a whole can't do anything better than buttering the West and gloating over false sense of "rented" power.

I hope the mods will take this post in good spirit and not loose senses and ban me. This is time for us to introspect and analyze the reality of US-China partnership and its implications for India. And the first thing we need towards that is honesty with ourselves and situation.

If you think I made some factually wrong statements above, please counter it. But ban is not good measure
I can help being so curious:

The reason is as simple as like why China is concerned about the growth of India and India being a regional power.

The threat to India comes only from China, but not from Pak.
China replaced Pak being India`s primary enemy. And China is trying hard to keep its position and its not even in the interests of China from opting out of India`s enemy list.

Clearly put, whatever we see today can only be considered as a provocative act by China which is only using US to secure its own interests.

Since yanks are known for their double standards, they keep receiving from Indian media or Indians what they deserve and no pun intended :d

It is only our politicians who dont give a shit are staying with no concern mounted on their head.

Since 47 ,neither the interests of US and India are same.It is only when US considered China as a threat ,started cuddling with India who shares a majority of issues with China. And now that the US economy is in shambles and its citizens started bothering about the never ending war in Afghan,US needs to divert its civilians attention and trying to find ways untill it got struck with a Kashmir issue.
And it is quiet obvious that every other president of US failed to understand the calibre of India.South-Asia in simple is a region of deceptive looks. If you just jump in with no proper understanding of the ground you will be drowned which is what US is trying hard to get itself drowned by angering India.

South-Asia is India`s playground. And no one can dare to play there.Be it US/China/EU/..... The breeze is always focused towards India no matter how deep shit we are in.And the legitimacy is clear and astounding.

To make your perception more clear and prune,No one is panicked.
We are only making ourself clear to the barbarians that do not meddle.India knows how to keep up its growth and how to maintain stability. It is only those terrorists from the west and oxy-morons from the east trying to interfere in the regional and internal matters are making the situation worse. When this interference stops, the region will prosper.

The primary issue regarding the arbitration of this dispute is to invite a third party who themselves are involved in a border dispute.

It is akin to inviting the Dalai Lama in the position of a head of state to arbitrate the China- Taiwan issue.

US China Joint statement means war between India and Pakistan.
If Pakistan do not understand the authenticity of Shimla agreement, then we have no liability to recognise Indus water treaty. Soon when India will be able to score more economical prosperity it will try to hold more water from all major rivers descending down towards Pakistan. This how we be able to counter these hippocratic undemocratic moves of opportunistic US. India knows how to keep its national interest and align both sides of politics.
Mr.Obama and PRC both are on mission to destabilized the region which was kept stable following 1971 war by means of India's restless pursuance with Pakistan to respect Shimla and Lahore! agreement.

Furthermore US and china has totally Ignored the the fact that Post 1971 war. It was India who shared the whole expense of Pakistan's self deleterious policies for east Pakistan, war which was imposed on our west borders and by setting the precedent on the value or merits by inviting Pakistan for Bilateral agreement by keeping status Co at IB and LOC.

Not even a single inch of East Pakistan was encroached who was severely ransacked and was spitting on west Pakistanis on the streets of Dhaka.

Same was the situation when india respected the LOC during kargil war.

It is better for US China to monitor their sister concern; frequent offender/aggressor than India.

Simply because we've had a love-hate relationship with the Americans. Our bright kids go there for shiny careers, Americans pump in investment, spread technology, helped our computerization, at the same time, made tons of money from the Indian consumer-base. So while we expect a mutually-beneficial relationship, we don't expect them to do anything that damages that, especially since we have all through stood our end of the deal, and they bloody-well know it.

Americans also know that they cannot afford to see India and China in the best of terms. They know that if Indian and Chinese consumer-bases get into bed, that could effectively lock American entrepreneurship away from either of those countries. Hence they will ensure we remain suspicious yet peaceful neighbours.

why care if President Obama meets HH Dalai Lama, why take the yankees seriously?
That is a brilliant counterpoint.
