Worst decision of the century if true.

What India needs is streamlined equipment and spares and not a zoo of different equipment.

Russo-ukraine war has already shown us the need to have a domestic MIC coupled with indigenous development of spare. Ukraine is already suffering from high attrition due to multiple weapon systems being introduced at different levels.

Did u checked if this is a parody account...

This is a bad move... Already we have too many examples in inventory... Maintaining these will be a nightmare.. And than u have some random. Clause in some Sam, s term & conditions regarding usage..

This seems like those click bait article... Let us wait for official word... Till than...

official website ,

they also do free delivery

More thsn anything else, Boeing need this badly... Imo, these are desperate times for them due to fiasco everywhere.. Be it military or civilian sales... 787 deliveries are stuck for almost an year. + now and. Max is not selling as expected.... 777x is delayed with Emirates breathing down their necks... A350. Is marching ahead... And 320 neo is already a winner...

I don't think I needed to check whether this account is a parody or not, I already know it.

Exactly my point. We can get much better rates from Boeing.

The journo who wrote this should be caned.

The IN cannot decide on which one to go for till it examines the commercial offers. Which it has not even received as yet. So as of now, there is no decision on Rafale or Super Hornet.

The Super Hornet Blk 4 will likely be slightly cheaper than the Rafale M, but strategic factors will also have to be taken into account. There is also the matter of ground infrastructure to support the fighters. For just 26 jets, it makes a lot more sense to go with Rafale so that commonality can be harnessed with the IAF's Rafales for overhaul, repair, maintenance and upgrades.

Super Hornet's Indian Ski-Jump Demo Next Month (livefistdefence.com)

As part of demonstrations of ski-jump launches with meaningful weapons payloads, Livefist learns the F/A-18s will be flying with two dummy Harpoon missiles — an attempt to show up the Rafale’s ability to only deploy one comparable Exocet anti-ship missile on its centreline hardpoint.

So Rafale-M can only carry one Exocet? Damn @BON PLAN , is this true? Not sure, what's the theory vs reality when it comes to meaningful loads with our carriers, but if the above point is true, could be the SH may be able to carrying more usable payloads?
