India don't have a "shipbuilding" industry. China had a shipbuilding industry which helps her to churn out warships each year. Only civilian industry could help our naval industry.
Shipbuilding is actually a good forex earner. Just like airplanes. We should have concentrated on it long back.
Again with the bashing ,than what according to you is the Definition of a "ship building" industry than? Please elaborate kindly?

Probably just out after her MLU. So the paint job is as good as new.
Any idea when was this MLU (Mid Life Upgrade) on INS Tabar done? (Assuming that it was done in the first place)

There were reports of an offer to lease 18 or so F-18 SHs? Was that for real? IMO that would really make the SH a front runner - if they are able to reduce the acquisition cost/sticker shock.

Rafale has a lower wing loading than F-18SH, so it will be able to take off with a larger payload from Vikrant, a critical requirement. Also, IAF - IN logistics will be combined, hence a lesser burden.

The chances of Rafale-M is much higher.
By when is the decision expected atleast?
