I know, but seems animator aren't aware of it, f15 have lots of similarities with f14 , so may be they get confused, u can clearly see that those animated aircrafts are no f18

Rafale cannot fit in with the Vikramaditya or Vikrant lifts.

Also the M version performance in Syria was not that awe inspiring to be honest.

Rafale can manage with some modifications. Question is whether it will be affordable for a limited series production.

Rafale wings don't fold. That can be a major deal-breaker. Dassault has been unable to implement folding wings and is offering wings that detach instead. I don't think that is going to fly with the Indian navy. Its a fly in the ointment.

Which makes me wonder if ADA is paying adequate attention to this aspect of AMCA-Naval. I will not be surprised if they are not.

Tata Power SED bags Rs 1,200 crore contract from Defence Ministry

Tata Power Strategic Engineering Division (Tata Power SED) on Friday announced the signing of a Rs 1,200 crore deal with the Ministry of Defence for supply of 23 ship-borne 3D air surveillance radars to Indian Navy over the next 10 years.

The contract was signed under the buy-and-make category of the Defence Procurement Procedure 2013. It will offer Indian Navy a proven solution with a production arrangement in India under transfer of technology. This will further substantive self-reliance for the country's defence requirements.

The contract will be executed by Tata Power SED as the prime contractor with foreign original equipment manufacturer partner Indra Sistemas of Spain, the company informed stock exchanges in regulatory filings.

Significantly, Tata Advanced Systems Ltd has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Tata Power for purchase of Tata Power SED, subject to regulatory and other approvals.

In November 2017, Tata Power SED had signed a contract with the Ministry of Defence for supply of portable diver detection sonars for Indian Naval applications. This contract was also part of Make in India initiative and the second contract under the Ministry of Defence procurement category buy-and-make category.

Tata Power SED partnered with DSIT Solutions Ltd in Israel for the delivery of PointShield portable diver detection sonar systems under a transfer of technology arrangement. It was one of the largest orders in the world market.

Should a SY the size of CSL - who builds aircraft carriers - be allowed to even bid for such contracts? Let these go to smaller private contractors....

No it is a hornet. F 15 has no naval variant and inlets match the F 18 SH. The LERX was not seen as modelling guy was noob or maybe to give French hope for Rafale N.
The jets are 100% modeled after F-15. Why? Because whoever was choosing the reference pictures was doing a bad job. People who are uninitiated in airplane recognition can be generally forgiven for confusing F-15 with MiG-29 (which is what I believe they set to model), but at this level (this CGI was official) such lack of oversight cannot be tolerated.

F-18 inlets are not placed that far ahead, and they are under the fuselage, not level with it. Furthermore, F-18 vertical fins are at an angle, while F-15 ones are straight, like in the video.

Ask yourself, what does this look like:

An F-15?

Or an F/A-18?

LERX is missing and F 15 is not a naval design. Based on inlet geometry, it's an F 18 SH.
