One reason why I stopped reading international news esp the anglo ones. Some random thing happening in some interior village somehwere will be blasted onto the world media. Why this manic obsession? I dont know.

We need to develop our own global media outlets, report every single rape and school shootings in their country. Tilt the news in favour of Russia while broadcasting the Russia-Ukraine war. Take the information warfare to their doorstep(especially the UK). IDK why the GOI doesn't consider this a priority.

BTW with google, its likely they have some kind of a deal. Newspapers are paying to be on the front page.
that for their people's satisfaction...they showed other countries poverty nd misfortunate incident, so their population know how good their life is in west. we also do it with pakistan🤭😝

Man Congress is a curse on us. We need a strong opposition to keep the ruling party in check but we get stupid party like Congress and nepotistic leader like Rahul Gandhi. They are ready to defame India abroad, raise India's domestic issues abroad, attack our own businessmen and businesses, stall development and acquisition processes with mindless corruption rants. End of Congress is a must for other strong political parties to come up.

This is a former RBI Deputy Governor

Playing into whose hands?

Big Five are: Reliance Group (Mukesh Ambani), Tata Group, Birla Group (Aditya Birla), Adani Group and Bharti Telecom.
There was a time when the US leaders thought breaking up big conglomerates will help increase competition which is good for the consumer. It even worked. But globalization has now made that concept not so practical. Tatas, Reliance and other Indian companies need to compete with Global conglomerates from the US, China and others. If you split up Reliance, Amazon might take their place. It is a fine balancing act.

Is there any truth to this accusation? If not, this accusation tantamounts to yelling fire in a crowded theatre. Words matter.

In response to the city’s high demand for industrial plots, the Greater Noida authority is creating two new industrial sectors

The Greater Noida authority announced on Thursday that it has received ₹206.71 crore from the central government for infrastructure development in two new industrial sectors in the city as part of the Prime Minister Gati Shakti scheme.
“We can upgrade the city’s infrastructure because we received cash under the PM Gati Shakti scheme. We will use this investment to accelerate the development of two new industrial sectors to fuel the city’s growth,” said Ritu Maheshwari, chief executive officer of the Greater Noida authority.
In October 2022, the authority suggested 13 projects for additional funding under PM Gati Shakti and requested ₹700 crore. However, the central government chose only two projects to invest in.
Explaining why, a Greater Noida authority official, who asked not to be named, said, “Because the central government must distribute funds to all states, they only support a few key projects under this scheme.”
Previously, Noida received cash from the central government scheme for four projects, including two underpasses, an elevated road, and a bridge.

In response to the city’s high demand for industrial plots, the Greater Noida authority is creating two new industrial sectors. According to officials familiar with the matter, the administration intends to invest ₹129.90 crore in sector Ecotech 8 and the remainder in sector Ecotech 10.
So far, the administration has allocated industrial plots to at least 100 companies, which expect to invest ₹1,500 crore and create more than 7,500 jobs.
In sector Ecotech 8, the Greater Noida authority has completed approximately 80% of the development work on basic facilities such as roads, parks, drains, and other amenities. In addition, the authority has completed approximately 90% of the work in sector Ecotech 10. Officials said they are addressing unresolved issues, such as relocating an old canal in Ecotech 10. The authority is working round-the-clock to resolve issues so that investors can begin establishing their units and starting manufacturing.

According to officials, the Prime Minister Gati Shakti scheme provides special assistance to states for capital expenditures in infrastructure projects for 50 years without charging any interest.
According to officials, the central government approves the funds for each state and city where a demand has been made through proposals.
The central government has chosen 15 projects in Uttar Pradesh to receive cash through this scheme.

The Central government will identify nearly 100 districts nationwide and develop them into export hubs using a "bottom-up approach", Director General of Foreign Trade Santosh Kumar Sarangi announced on Friday (31 March).

Sarangi said that the idea behind the initiative is to involve more youngsters at the district level, such as collectors, so that they view export boosting as a core rather than peripheral function.

Phase one of the initiative includes 75-100 districts and may expand in the next step.

Sarangi stated that the export programme includes both goods and services, covering various products and services, distinguishing it from the One District One Product initiative.

The DG Foreign Trade also said that the newly announced Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023 will provide policy continuity and a responsive framework.

The FTP has also introduced an amnesty scheme for one-time settlement of default in export obligation by Advance Authorisation and EPCG authorisation holders.

The policy also seeks to encourage e-commerce exports which is expected to grow to $200-300 billion by 2023.

Ya'll Nibbiars The Why didn't the PPF rate go up?. The only logic that can be is because the current need of the hour is to increase deposits with the banks To avoid what’s happening in the Amerika. That's exactly why the indexation advantage of Debt MFs were also reversed.

The Bank deposits of house holding savings are down from 7 percent to 3 percent. Also the RBI and the government has been very prudent and hence we have not faced the global problems ever.
