Indian stock exchange has not only shown divergence from global markets but also historical correlation.

This points to confidence in domestic growth despite external pressure. Despite liquidity constraints.

People also trying to defeat inflation and preserve wealth by trusting stock market will give higher returns.

Personally I think it's bit of both.

Hongkong and Shanghai exchange have shown good growth in last 6 months . Especially in last 1 month. But overall still RED YTD .

And those Chinese stocks which shown growth are engaged directly into CCP's latest policy of opening Amma canteen kind of food courts.

Also maybe due to collapse in real estate, Chinese population is diverting money into domestic stocks ,
Since even banks are not safe because they will funnel the money back to construction companies as loan.
