Ya'll Nibbiars The Ford India to sells its Gujarat Plant to the Tata Motors for 726 crores rupees. They invested 12,000 crores in the Plant and now selling for just the 6 percent of the Investments.
Ford USA and Ford Europe are totally different animals. Iconic GT40 and rally cars were entirely British whereas US Mustang still used leaf spring suspension(!) I think most their export cars are based on Ford Europe models (Fiesta, Focus, Transit van etc) To compare to other developing nations seems Ford also left Brasil, but expanded manufacturing in Vietnam.

Ya'll Nibbiars The 120mm Rain in Seoul in 12 hours. The Developed cities in the world are not equipped with flooding like Mumbai. And 250 MM rain in a few hours is a very common sight in Mumbai. Surprisingly, Mumbai haven't seen such heavy rain this year. The Mumbai takes that with ease for 2 days every month in Monsoon, 120mm in 12 hrs is drizzle for Mumbai.
When we look at first world cities drowning at 100 mm, we are lot better wirh our rain management. Mumbai should not be judged by Hindmata, Kings Circle and Milan Subway. And this year despite heavy rain Hindmata area did not see flooding the infra is improving finally.

250 MM rain is nothing in south florida lol. The water clears out after a couple hours.
Ya'll Nibbiars we see this kind if rain every two days. And even yesterday but still not flooding. We are still stuck in our colonial mentality where Bhumihar nibba still think that the mumbai still in running on the Raj ear drainage but don't knew that the system has been upgraded many times as recently as now. But will still do the gora workshippings.

Ya'll Nibbiars This monsoon hardly any major flooding even the Low lying areas like the Hind Mata and Milan Subway were not flooded as usual. Why are you not even counting this year. The flooding is slowly becoming history in Mumbai. The Navi Mumbai is the most potent city against the flooding in the world. And even able to with stand raise as much as double of that seen in the Seoul.

One thing worth noting is that few years back floods used to come in villages, rural areas while now we see cities being flooded every year. It because our city drainage system is not built to handle heavy rainfall in short span of time. Nowadays we are seeing floods in seemingly dry areas like Jodhpur, Ganganagar etc. While villages mostly have remained safe till now. One benefit of this kind of rain pattern will be that crop damages will be less leading to good harvest.

Ya'll Nibbiars

The Maharashtra become the only state with Three Mega Textile parks.

The Three Mega Textile parks will be loacated at the Dhule, Aurangabad and The Amravati.

The central government has planned to build a textile city on 1,000 acres in Auric City in Aurangabad . A proposal to set up a huge textile park Mega Textile Park on one thousand acres was recently submitted to the central government on behalf of the state government. The proposed park will provide one lakh direct jobs and two lakh people will get indirect employment. Under the Prime Minister's Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel PM Mitta scheme, the central government is going to build seven grand garment cities in Aurangabad industrial city Auric city across the country. Greenfield Seven world-class, fully-equipped mega textile parks will be established across the country under the PM Mitra scheme at Green field and Brown field sites.

The 4,445 crore investment. All kinds of facilities including electricity, water, internet, others will be provided for textile business. More than 1000 acres of land required for mega textile park is available in Aurangabad industrial city Auric City with world class facilities. A textile park will be constructed on this land as soon as the central government approves it. The central government has made substantial financial provision for seven textile parks across the country. 4,445 crore will be invested over a period of seven years till 2027 to the 2028.

The Vastranagari to Aurangabad with Amravatis. The Union Ministry of Textiles has received 18 proposals from 13 states for setting up textile parks. This includes two projects in Maharashtra. There is also a proposal to set up a textile park in Amravati in Vidarbha and a mega textile park will be set up in Auric City in Aurangabad. And What are the features. The aim of the park is to enable the textile industry to attain size and scale, creating a modern and integrated textile value chain in one place. As Auric still lacks an anchor project, concerted efforts are being made by the state government to get approval for Tex Tile Park.

Key features of PM Mitra Mitra Park will create world-class infrastructure with plug and play facilities and attract major players in the textile sector. Along with this, new entrepreneurs will also be given opportunities in this park. As a result, it will help attract massive investment and boost employment.
Why does Modi run this country like it is a high school? Did no one tell him what the population of the country is? How did he settle on just 7 such parks across the country? If 13 states want this park, then build it in all 13 states! If he can waste so much money bailing out BSNL, then cost isnt an issue. And the timescale is just plain lazy. Even the bongobondus are building such textile parks at a much faster pace. Every other day they are receving $10 million or so investment from foreign companies. Not much value addition, but each plant will employ a few hundred mainly women, exactly the sort of industries India, with one of the world's worst female employment scenario needs

Problem is modiji is trying to do too much centralization. Ask states to build their own textile parks and tell them they can get the subsidies (PLI) re-imbursed by center. Modi is trying to rule India the same way he ruled Gujarat, but a country of this size cannot be run like a state.

Now, with the current scheme there will be fight between state and center, state will shout about favoritism to UP and Gujrat, then there will be a chakka jam by Kejru and party since Punjab didn't get textile park, then Modiji with heavy heart will say he is taking back the decision to keep our "Kapda daata" happy.

The Parks will create integrated value chain from spinning , weaving , dying , printing in a single location . logistic cost can be reduced increasing the competitiveness . Proper infra ll ensure FDI in this sector .

most state politicians are corrupted to the core. they got filthy rich in WB,TS, AP, MH, TN by diverting funds into their pockets. what ED recovered in last 8 years is not even 1%.
Yeah, and with these corrupt politicians TN has performed better than most BJP ruled states.
Besides PLI is linked to production, and not given upfront. How the hell are they going to do fraud in that? Worst case they might select companies closer to them, which is fine. Modi govt. is doing the same.

What i said "most state politicians" that includes bjp, inc state level politicians for example MH is there in the list, here problem is centre vs state but not bjp ruled states vs TN, if you want to rant how TN is 100% corruption free open a new thread, if you want to know why centre has more transparency join CAG.

Contrary to popular belief Mudiji does not give favourite status to Gujarat or U.P unless CM intervenes in the matter personally. I have seen proposals of Gujarat being turned down by Centre for lack of merit or being against the rules. In a recent policy decision the centre returned the proposal of additional funding saying all states are equal and that Gujarat should arrange its own funds
:hehe:
