I totally agree with you, in my opinion even though a country A might have a bigger GDP as compared to another country B, Country A should also be more developed as compared to country B in terms of infrastructure/living standards.
For large population countries like China India no matter how high our gdp goes we won't be able to touch the per capita incomes of countries like USA uk Japan etc

Yes you are right and this is because Standards of living in western countries like US, UK are more expensive as compared to the average indian because these guys tend to have prefer more comfortable living standards and therefore they have earn more.

For example we can definitely improve our infrastructure and bring them to the level of the ones which you can find in the West.

For example, this is an example of a house in the US.

We can build Such houses in India as well if we want, a bit smaller ones will do the job as well. Houses in India are more cheaper I believe.

By the way can someone give me link of a thread where we can discuss about infrastructure in India (i.e Buildings, Houses, etc)

Someone buys the apple wrapped in higher grade plastic paying 30$ from a big mall there by more GDP and someone buys same quality apple paying 15$ from a road side vendor there by less GDP .. After a certain level of economic growth is achieved non of it matters . It is knowledge economy , hold over IP , And wellbeing of people in general that ll matter .

We were like that previously. Similar, but a little small, like you said. See the pic below:

From there we got attracted to tall buildings which Haldi nibba posts all day.

Now we want to go back to those homes.

This completes the circle of life.

Post some photos of inside view of such Indian houses. I think so that we can definitely match the west in terms of making such houses and do it more cheaper as compared to West.

For example this is what the inside of a houses in US is said to look like.

I think so that we can definitely make a single family house of say this size.

The-Complete-Sriracha.jpg

Already I am aware that some Rich class families in India already have such houses. The only Thing is that we should make a very straightforward design which includes basic things like :-

1. Kitchen
2. Toilet
3. A bedroom
4. A living room
5. Dining room

Etc. And also a simple car parking area. Houses with single floor will be cheaper as compared to a 2 floor one.

Ofcourse this is all my own personal opinion.

"advanced economies" intentionally keep making their consumer products costlier every year, India on the other hand tries to keep making things affordable as much as possible. two different approaches to manage respective economies.

in the first place, India can never become like "advanced economies" because we are an energy deficit country at this point in time. at a time when validity of concept of globalisation is being reviewed, may not be the right time to adopt "advanced economy" models.

hypothetically if one wishes India to become like U.S, one has to accept the risks as well. risks of giving free hand to corporates dictating the society just to satisfy their share holder interests. them idiots are running a campaign against breast feeding , because abbot pharmaceuticals has a supply chain issue for their baby formula. abbot is the same company that created opioid crisis in US and got away with it.
====
1/ Breastfeeding isn't free — and it isn't a solution to the nation’s baby formula shortage. The response to the shortage, which has shelves across the US carrying nearly half their usual supply in recent weeks, overlooks the high costs of breastfeeding.

These woke ka chodas at one hand are shunning a completely natural way of nurturing infants - even going so far to calling it 'physically taxing' huh
- and other hand are promoting notion of feeding infant babies something that is practically 50 percent corn syrup = sugar huuuh
IMG_20220520_143237_980.jpg

Only these "civilised" people can be this savage to shun such an elementary, natural practice
>...BUT NOT ALL WAHMEN CAN PRODUCE ENOUGH MELK FOR THEIR BABIES REEEEEEEEE
lmao shut the fuck up then there are much better homemade alternatives to breastfeeding than giving a literal fucking sugar spike to your infant

IMF 'corrects' maths, says India to be $5-trillion economy by FY27

IMF staff discovered a data input error that led to an error in calculating India's gross domestic product (GDP) denominated in US dollars, which was corrected,” Luis E Breuer, senior resident representative — India, Nepal, and Bhutan, at the Fund, told Business Standard in an emailed response. He said the data for real and nominal GDP denominated in rupees are not affected.

The revised data.

India may become 5 trillion dollars economy by 2026.

These shameless media houses had carried out a smear campaign against India after the initial report. Only to discover that the IMF economists had made a calculation mistake.

Any thoughts on the future of EdTech?

Industry going through a churn with the reopening of schools. A neighbor got laid off this week... says many tutors and a few content creators have been booted out and the future is uncertain.

What is the dope from the street?
Unacademy will survive thanks to their diversification and customer satisfaction iit neet, NEET, IAS, GATE, SSC, SC they are everywhere.
They will survive with a little less revenue this year.

BYJUs was a sham to begin with and it will get what it deserves.

World bank too apparently does some mischief. as per the new paper on poverty authored by Surjit Bhalla, Arvind Virmani and Karan Bhasin, says there is .67 pass through applied only for India and no other country. that means what ever number India officially declares, they multiply it with .67.

Our hosuing will never look as good as Umrica simply because there is no space.

What you have here might as well be considered bungalow in India.
A large lawn, swimming pool, garden, parking garage these things only 1 to 3% of the population can afford even in the future.
Your can increase GDP you cannot increase land mass

Here is a bit of infofaphic.

Their suburbs.

Our suburbs.

In India, the population is more as compared to the population in US. But US has a larger land mass as compared to India. Problem is our population is too much. Because of this, population density in India is more as compared to US.

1.The population density in India is 464 per Km²
2.The population density in the United States is 36 per Km².

Notice the huge difference between US and India in terms of Population density? This is the issue, if we had a lesser population, than we would have less crowding, which can cut commute times, reduce stress, maintain green areas, and improve quality of life.

South East Asian cities have very high densities but their quality of life in general is great and have great public infra and greenery not to make the place feel like a concrete jungle

Cite some examples.
1. Singapore,
2. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
3. Jakarta, Indonesia.
3. Bangkok, Thailand.
4. Penang, Malaysia.
5. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
6. Hanoi, Vietnam.
7. Manila, Philippines.

You can check photos of these cities and you will get how they have very good quality of life. Better than India.

Just wait a few more years, there will be a scientific study saying our chaotic housing patterns are more energy efficient, since household basics we need is stone's throw away from our houses, in US you need a car to go even for basics.

There is a large growing contingent among North America where people are criticizing suburban America
