BEML bags order from Coal India for 20 Cu.M Electric Rope Shovel

BEML Limited, a Government of India undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has signed a prestigious contract with Coal India for supply of 20 Cu.M Electric Rope Shovel for deployment in the mines of Northern Coalfields. The contact is valued at ₹118 crore.

This 20 Cu.M Electric Rope Shovel is designed and developed indigenously by BEML under ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. This project would not only enable the country to achieve self-reliance in this class of product but also save huge outgoing foreign exchange.

Electric Rope Shovel is powered by an all-electric powertrain that will not leave any carbon footprints on the environment. In fact, the design of this green energy machine conforms to global standards for safety, operator comfort, and low maintenance. Its features include advanced IGBT-based AC drive, integrated with predictive maintenance, production monitoring system, safety red line lighting system for proximity to dumpers, and remote monitoring.

its been ages since i bought anything from paytm mall. It was mostly cheap chinese stuff being sold there. Mostly B and C copy of branded items.

If retailers are not involved (like in PaytmMall) then it's 101% positive from my side if the Chinese are burning cash in useless companies. It's a wealth transfer scheme. Companies fall all the time, no biggie.

More like a platform where small business owner or shop and restaurant owners can make their own marketplace or menu and payment portal so that people don't have to pay through swiggy or zomato and pay hefty cut of these apps.
