Vote bank politics and short sighted, mediocre politicians will always increase freebies for votes. People will happily vote for such people because general population do not have understanding of budget balancing and taxation.

A proper authoritarian, technocrat driven system that is inspired by civilisational values is better suited. Only such government can take tough unpopular decisions for betterment of people. Also a government body that doesn't have to go to polls every five years can plan and execute long term strategy.

I know so many people who think western style democracy means western style wealth & prosperity. This superficial argument is result of western propaganda and ignorance of people. Most of the third world countries are in a mess partly because of democratic system which is preventing them to tap their full potential.

Ya'll Nibbiars I done the calculations the total area of the Pragat madian total built up area is 40,00,000 Sq. FT. That is less than the JIO World Centre 60,00,000 Sq. Ft. And still cost almost 170 percent more than the JIO. And hope AK don't sit in Dharma due to this.

And I have not included land cost in this as the pragati maidan land cost zero. And after all sarkari zammen jo theri.
