Ya'll Nibbiars nahi the problem with NCR is that they can't sustain 20 percent of their start ups Unicorns valuations all the ex start ups are from the NCRs. And the growth rate of start uos in the NCR has shown down only the Mumbai and Bengaluru are raising the new Unicorns at higher rates. Mumbai alone last years triple the Unicorn counts a growth of 320 percentages. And this year's the first two Unicorn were from Mumbai alone.
It was already refuted when published last year. I recall there was a separate thread for it .....

Ya'll Nibbiars political climate is bad. Most of the starts ups are in Gurgaum, Delhi and only few in Noida. And we all knew what is happening in Delhi and Haryana.
Not to undermine our Scientists work. Today's supercomputer capacity is in exaflops. Petaflops is yesterday's technology. It is still useful for many applications. We need to build a supercomputer of exaflop scale and aim to have 10 of those. It would be very useful for military and civil applications. All the more better if we can build a supercomputer based on our own chip design like Japanese Fugaku supercomputer which uses 158,976 ARM processors. Even more better if we make those chips in our own fabrication plants. I know it's long way away. But that should be the goal.

Gyaani , gyan to de diya , but have u read what u said , what will be utility of a supercomputer if their is no requirement for such capacity , college need just this much capacity for now as our AI research isn't that much big. Only few people doing it , and that too not simultaneously so the load on system is far less
I know it is not needed today. But why not just build one exaflop super computer? It would surely help build skills and know how to operate such powerful supercomputer. Then in future we will have vibrant HPC engineers who can be easily deployed to work on other super computers. We don't have to worry about not having skills and expertise to operate and maintain them. Everything starts with something small. Once you establish a base it will be easier if you want to scale the industry in future.
