Homosexuality is not a mental disorder rather it is a normal and natural variation in human sexuality as per science and United Nations and whether you accept it or not a significant portion of Indian and global population are gays.We have to treat them as humans and not discriminate against them just because it's against our religion.
Science is a big term. Science is not set in stone. Homosexuality is normal and natural variation according to the current scientific knowledge. Who know few years down the line they may declare it pseudo science.
Cousin marriages to a large extent have got to do with preserving the land and wealth in the south. It is slowly reducing.

China is not mostly atheist. It is just that there is no proper data available and government does not support any religion.

If you want another US type boom in India you should be ready to accept a war or loose the individuality of your nation and become like South Koreans.

You are talking of an America where an average person can afford to buy high end SUV's
You are talking of an America where close to 10% of the population are millionaires.
No doubt there are struggling families even there but the average population is well off
The materialistic life of US is just not sustainable. If the same thing happens in India we will be the ones complaining about pollution and environment. US is not the gold standard to aspire for. We should argue for better public transportation on the lines of Europe.
Consumption of an item should never be the judge of quality of living of a country.

Going by the explanation of blockchain given in the video, anyone knows if block chain can be used/is being used to track electricity supply.

electricity generator -->distributor —> consumer ( not necessarily individual homes).
Yes sir! Blockchain can be used to store and track any kind of data. Till now P2P electricity transfer has been demonstrated in LV microgrids in some Western countries. Still, it's utility is in doubt as active power flow is usually from generating stations to consumers, not the other way around. However, with domestic solar panels becoming popular, this might become useful in rural areas. You can see this paper:

Gadkari for the most part has done great but i don't get it why he is so invested in 'Ethanol' when everyone is investing in EV. EV is the future here, tesla's battery like 4680 are amazing and power efficient.

Even elon has contested ideas about ethanol, and despite his flaws his reasoning was sound. I just realised that he has written an entire article on it in 2006, https://www.tesla.com/blog/ethanol-ethanol-everywhere-time-stop-and-think,

Ethanol doesn't solve the basic environmental problem when you think about how much water and resources will be wasted on the production of it (not talking about combustion here). Why even go through so much trouble? Idea of using solar panels along highways or in regions which are too arid desert sounds amazing.

We should invest in Mega power reserves based on minimum improved lithium batteries, Tesla has proved it that it is possible, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hornsdale_Power_Reserve.
So why go through the trouble so much? You can generate it at one place, use reserves and transer to other places. So even that's not an issue.

Ethanol atmost maybe in heavy vehicle if it works may make sense but solar + nuclear is way to go. I know that solar and nuclear fusion fans hate each other but future is utilizing them together. (Nuclear fusion in future and fission now).

Yep, ethanol is a bad bet.
I personally don't think production of lithium batteries is sustainable or eco-friendly. BEVs are just a stop gap measure before we can produce hydrogen efficiently. In the future with abundant solar and nuclear energy, hydrogen production won't cause pollution. Hydrogen EVs will have the convenience of ICE cars (easy refuelling, lesser weight, longer life) and efficiency of electric motors. I think this is the reason why the Japanese companies are betting on hydrogen.
As for ethanol, you've rightly pointed out that it's a terrible bet.

Yep, ethanol is a bad bet.
Govt is looking at it from oil imports point of view, very little percentage of feed stock is coming from crops explicitly grown for ethanol production. For Maharashtra sugarcane crop/sugar production are the focus for inputs for ethanol production.

even if it is a bad idea, let the experiment run its course. Let enough data be generated to do a scientific analysis based on actual regional data.

if it works out, well and Good.

if it doesn’t works out, Since news media encourages people to presume govt doesn’t know what it is doing, a decade or two later some other fellow will try to do the same thing and it would be costlier later.

even congress ran a experiment on generating electricity from bio mass, which failed. and because it failed, that point doesn’t come up as a solution anymore.

as an Energy source deficient country, India has to keep experimenting various permutations and combinations to find solutions . There is no choice.

Ya'll Nibbiars off topic and how some members are relating this nonsense to economics.

1 . The SJW is debatable and large number of Psychiatrist themselves debate about this which was forwarded by left leaning one's and are totally opposing to reexamine when asked to reexamine. The 2009 comitte was totally dominated by the left leaning and also many members who don't have the experience in this fields and pure political participations this a nothing but a stamp commitment of the APA under the left influence and a total political driven agenda.

2 . The cousin marriage is hardly happening in Southern states now. And if it's sixth then is allowed accourding to the scripts.

3 . The Mleechas are not Aethist is any sense they follow a spiritual hybrid form of ancestors worship, Folk religion and forms of Taoisem and daoisem mixed. The number of atheist is probably less than 10 percent now accourding to some surveys.

4 . ROK can't be compared to us and most of the population there are religious. The unreligious numbers comes due to the many almost 30 percent of the population follows the Folk religion which was banned by the Ri administration in the 50 's in the name of moderatozation but on ground nothing affecteds.

I am not a proponent of atheism or any other belief.I was merely point out the inverse correlation trend between religiously and prosperity of a nation.

My take is that Religion is only good till it limits itself to personal belief.
But often this is not the case, more often it usually become a tool of suppression and repression.

You can see most "religious countries" are often the biggest violators of human rights.
Ball of hot garbage. A tiny shred of evidence in place of rhetoric would be a good start. The leaders in repression and internal oppression are godless Communistic ones like China, North Korea and others. Throughout history, it is the godless atheist Commies that have murdered the highest number of people in state-sponsored genocides, and almost always their target were people with some sort of belief in God.

Attributing gun violence in US to Atheism is plain stupid. China is mostly atheist and so are many other countries, why gun violence is not prevalent over there ?
And so is attributing religion to be a factor for a nation's economic backwardness. Again, a tiny shred of evidence would be a good place to start.

Really not a smart look to act dumb about the mass killings carried out by atheist Commie countries like China.

US has a gun culture since their formation which transcends their religious belief and customs. This along with their lax gun laws allows for such violence. They sell guns like we sell tomato and potatoes.
Ball of hot garbage and completely false, but irrelevant to the point anyway.

And If you check the available statistics then you will find that deeply religious countries are top rank holders in murder, crime, terrorism, rape, durg abuse and every other nihilist activities
Ball of hot garbage and again a tiny shred of evidence will be a good place to start, like the info I posted earlier, it is atheists who are ahead in pretty much every destructive action, and not religious people.

Homosexuality is not a mental disorder rather it is a normal and natural variation in human sexuality as per science and United Nations and whether you accept it or not a significant portion of Indian and global population are gays.We have to treat them as humans and not discriminate against them just because it's against our religion.
This is again, quite irrelevant to the point, so I'm not going to expand on it here, but trusting the word of a laughable fake oligarch-controlled body like the UN which has no credibility whatsoever on matters such as this is so retarded that it's beyond belief.

And no, they are not a significant population of the world, they don't even form 1%. That's not because it's not a normal or natural variation. Not the thread for it, so won't go into details, but the evidence actually suggests homosexuality might be symptoms of an infection.

Either way, it is not healthy and if encouraged and promoted, will lead to the destruction and eventual annihilation of any society. The Universe 25 experiment already showed this, and the West is a live example of it.

It's quite laughable that many religious people find homosexuality to be offensive but have no problem with
first cousin marriage which often leads to genetic disorder and other health problems.
Who the fuck is supporting cousin marriage? Not me. It's concentrated in a few places in the South mostly as a tactic for inheriting land and wealth, and even then it is on a massive decline.

You are talking of an America where an average person can afford to buy high end SUV's
You are talking of an America where close to 10% of the population are millionaires.
No doubt there are struggling families even there but the average population is well off

The United States is still numero uno in the world and is far ahead of the next big power China.

United States has the ability to attract the best of the best talents available in the world which ensures it remains the leader in cutting edge science and technology. And They will continue to dominate the world for the foreseen future.
Hah, you really have no idea what the situation of America really is, do you kid?

The USA is #1 in per capita incarceration rate in the world.
Recently former communist countries have a 90% home ownership rate. The capitalist USA ranks 50th in home ownership rate at roughly 60% and dropping.

The USA ranks 40th in life expectancy, BEHIND every country with socialized healthcare. The USA deals with more than twice as much mass hunger as China.

The American economy is completely hollow from decades of outsourcing. Without the petrodollar and the military industrial complex propping up the dollar their economy would collapse. They import more finished goods than any other country and are heavily reliant on global supply chains. The average American doesn’t have $500 in the bank lmao. You can muh GDP me all you want but most of those profits are going directly to multinational corporations to develop more capital in China and elsewhere instead of America. China’s economic policies completely took advantage of America’s unchecked greed perfectly. They traded labor and short term profit for capital in China. They knew the profits would be too great for American corporations to ignore.

At the end of the day, China is the manufacturing hub of the entire world due to their economic policies and that will not change. It has a rapidly growing consumer economy. The American economy is collapsing and the idea that they “need” American money at this point is pure boomer cope. America’s economy is running on fumes and is unsustainable, which is why the FED is printing money and just handing it to corporations to stay afloat because they know that if the economy crashes, it is going to crash BIG and make ‘08 look like child's play. They are desperately trying to prevent that and keep it afloat but covid and the lockdowns has been another kick to the nads.

Understand this, there is no "economy" in America, it is a financial cartel with a GDP number attached to it. A handful of bankers own all the money there and these bankers, through their system of usury enslave everyone below them. The FED is churning out billions of dollars every month to keep this sinking boat afloat or else Mighty Murica would have collapsed right during the Summer of Love itself.

Their debt has reached 40 trillion dollars, and their Treasury Secretary has said they are going to run out of cash by December 15.

When I was a kid, I viewed America as a haven on earth too. When I grew up i realized that the US is a shithole if you are not in the upper 20%. American cities have crime rates as big as Brazil. You have shitloads of homeless and junkies. You have ghettos and houses that an average person cannot buy. If you get sick, like seriously cancer sick your whole family will be financially ruined. You have to get in a lifelong debt to get to university.

They literally spend 30% of the GDP they actually produce, without taking the abysmal debt into account. And only recently, they passed their genius infrastructure bill.

Biggest spending bill in American history giving millionaires $80,000 property tax deductions, AND pays to replace the plumbing in their mansions. Amnesty for illegals. 22,000 IRS agents to target people making $12/hr or less. 330 million to collection agencies to go after student loans. No faith based child care allowed. Federal funding for abortion. Rejection of amendment to prevent money in the bill going to Chinese communist party (Ho Lee Fuck, they're literally giving the chinks billions for making Covid).

The all time worst bill ever. 14 trillion minimum spending this year (total national debt just topped 14 trillion 10 years ago under Obama). National debt over 40 trillion by Christmas. And this while over 100 million of their citizens are not even in the labor force.

The numbers look like this right now:
National debt: $31 trillion
Annual GDP: $23 trillion
Tax revenue: $4 trillion

Thus we can calculate:
Debt-to-GDP: 135%
Max interest rate: 13.3%

The max interest rate is basically the maximum interest rate the Federal Reserve can offer before the interest on the debt eclipses the entire tax revenue. So if the Federal Reserve raised interest rates to 13%, Amrikis would be paying around $4 trillion in interest, which is greater than the tax revenue. If that were the case, it means that funding any operations of government would be 100% debt. So in practice, you can slash that number by about 1/3. Meaning that the max interest rate the Federal Reserve can now offer is 4%, which would be 1/3 of Amriki tax revenue going to pay interest on the debt.

The problem is that interest rates are the primary tool the government has to fight inflation. If you can't raise interest rates above the rate of inflation, then money will leave the country. This is especially concerning because of just HOW much money the Fed has pumped into the economy over the past few years. Most of it apparently has gone to bid up the housing market. But if that money starts being circulated, the velocity of money will increase, and Amrikis could be seeing some pretty serious inflation. It's already up to 5%, and that's without housing prices decreasing very much.

America is now the land of homeless druggies and understaffed businesses.

And I haven't even gone into the literal demographic and societal collapse their shithole nation is going through with open borders and minority welfare gibs me dat.

During the period from 1965 to 2011 the salaries of chief executive officers (CEOs) of large corporations went from 42 times greater than an average worker’s pay to 380 times as much. After the 2008 collapse, more than $5 trillion of household wealth had evaporated. About one in every eight mortgages was in default or foreclosure. There were ten million foreclosures on homes through 2012. One in every eight adults and one in four children subsisted on government food stamps.

All of these problems were exacerbated by high rates of unemployment. According to an Associated Press report, one in every five Americans was unemployed or underemployed, and the number kept rising, causing the second-highest unemployment figure since World War II.

This time, when the collapse happens, it will be ten times worse. America is like Alcoholics Anonymous and it is about to hit rock bottom.

Even the bottom 10% of american is richer than our middle class whatever they are doing its working for them china would never be able to beat them in per capita income
So, we should adopt what they are doing? Capitalist democracy with liberalism?

That's not how it works, the entire "free market" in America is rigged through oligarch monopolies or state capitalist centrally planned policies. The entire premise that the economy is democratic, based on individual choices of the consumer is blatantly false. Take Japan for example, the post war economic boom is driven by fascist war time economic polices whereby the state works with corporations to further its own nationalized industries.

The subsequent economic decline of Japan can partially be attributed to its attempt to liberalize its economy in the face of American coercion. Their country was destroyed by liberalism. Economics is a rigged game, there is no such thing as free. It is always directed at the behest of oligarchs or the power of state sovereignty.

And so is attributing religion to be a factor for a nation's economic backwardness. Again, a tiny shred of evidence would be a good place to start.
As I said before religion is not a HEADACHE as long as it limit itself to personal belief ,but as it happens with communism and socialism, things are different in theory and practicality.

Countries with deeply religious population often turn to either repressive states(like Middle east) or restrictive societies(like India,Pakistan)

Now how is that bad for the economy ?

A restrictive society has no scientific temperament and it does not allow or limits creative and individual freedom. Here innovation and talent are usually are suppressed and mediocrity is the norm and the aim and ambition of the society is reduced nothing more than chota mota sarkari naukri.

Most of the national time and resource is wasted on religious discourse and bellendry. So there is no real increase in productivity.

On a side note,Tell me what ground breaking or disruptive technologies has come from India in the past 75 years?
Almost NADA
My cousin's US college professor is a Nobel prize winner. There is so much innovation happening in the US that even winning a Nobel Prize is largely seen as a very normal thing over there.

The numbers look like this right now:
National debt: $31 trillion
Annual GDP: $23 trillion
Tax revenue: $4 trillion

Thus we can calculate:
Debt-to-GDP: 135%
Max interest rate: 13.3%
ECONOMICS 101 - The luxury of having debt issued in your own currency

US national Debt is not the same as debt taken other countries BECAUSE The US government is paying back it's det using the currency that it itself issues. So they do not have to worry about earning revenues to pay to its creditors because they simply print the dollar and pay them.

Therefore, the US does not have a real national debt and it will never run out of money and can afford a
massive deficit budget as long as inflation is kept under control.

So for the US,managing inflation and not debt is a challenge and Unlike most other countries which taxes it's citizens for spending on social welfare and other programs ,the US federal government collects taxes to control inflation.

Hyundai Motor India plans to invest about ₹4,000 crore for R&D over the next seven years as it looks to roll out 6 new electric vehicles in India by 2028.

View attachment 123738
Ya'll Nibbiars Tata and Mahindra alone will spend more than that in a single years. That's why better to have a domestic firms rather than this.
