It’s not the rule of law but geographical advantage most of the industrial powerhouses of the world are along coastline or rivers
In India the waterways were neglected by dumb politicians and there wasn’t any robust rail and road connectivity between port cities and landlocked areas either that’s the reason why Mumbai , Kolkata and Chennai are the manufacturing hubs all of them are coastal cities
yes to a certain extent....but look at gurgaon , noida ,look at their development in the past decades as the rule of law has improved and political stability is slowly being established, look how after desi vin diesel's arrival samsung and other corporations are setting up manufacturing centres

More Than Gurgaon and Noida its Bihar which is developing at a very fast pace check the growth rate of different states in india
Bihar is growing way faster than any other state in india and it kept growing even during the pandemic year
The GDP Growth rate of Bihar was 15.36% in 2019-20 when india was growing at the rate of 4% and 2.52% in 2020-21 when indian gdp was going down at the rate of 7.7%
the industry minister of Bihar has said it on record that ₹35019 crore worth of investments were approved in Bihar in last 6 months alone

@ezsasa @Haldilal
A question, please.
Please see the below tweet: (some part of it is in Hindi)

In this, KTR is saying that according to the RBI handbook of statistics on Indian Economy 2020-21, Telangana is 4th largest contributor to Indian economy. He even said that MH and GJ are not ahead of TG. The other three states ahead of TG being Karnataka, TN and WB.

I am not sure if this is factual. The link for the handbook is here: https://www.rbi.org.in/scripts/AnnualPublications.aspx?head=Handbook of Statistics on Indian Economy

I guess, he is talking about Table 7. But according to it, Net state value added data is as follows:

UP: 1348892
Gujarat: 1245410
Karnataka: 1340350
WB: 1104866
Rajasthan: 804101
TN: 1544935

Telangana: 801503

MP: 774016
AP: 800814

Clearly 6 states are contributing more. And two are close by.

Am I missing anything here? Or is his data not factual?
He was speaking in absolute terms, not per capita. Maybe, per capita wise TG is 4th, but then WB can't be ahead of TG/GJ etc in per capita terms.

Thanks.
