Ya'll Nibbiars rail is probably a single line. The highways is four lane and six lane at some sections and can't compare the both. That the estimates from the IRB not mine.

Ya'll Nibbiars once the Zenith was the Personal Computers leader in India in 1995. But was unable to keep the pace's. The hardware was assembled in India.

Zenith computers were good. My dad bought us the first computer - a Zenith one in year 2000 and the computer is still there - survived a full 21 years. Ah nostalgia.

The only downside - in those days, it cost a whooping 1 lac inr, could easily put a person in debt.

Ya'll Nibbiars already seen the risk of investing in the foreign countries remember the Male Airport where the GMR lost and made huge losses.

Ya'll Nibbiars even the recent line of credit we given to the Maldives for the Hanimaadhoo International Airport extension around 800 million Us dollar's. And still they delayed the work for many year's despite receiving full amounts. The investments in the foreign country specially in the Project is not easy as many thing's here.

Generally I believe PSU underperform because they have no one to answer which may just be true.

Make PSU-Employees Role In-Company Underperform-Gov Decided to close-Protest-Gov revokes decision-Losess keep piling up.

I'm not gonna lie I only know PSU on surface level from reading Wikipedia and News Articles so I don't know if there are other factors involved.

Is there some PSU laws and General management layout for this a available for reading?

PSU style of management is bureaucratic, meaning it relies alot on two things. Zero trust amidst full responsibility. But at the same time there is no threat to job which is the biggest bane of Govt services. In my Dept there are people who cannot even write a single line without grammatical mistake or calculate sum in excelsheet but squeeze lakh per month salary. Due to which Dept is all the more happy to accept resignations/retirement of oldies and is recruiting youngsters on a spree. Because it can hire two young guys worth the money of a single oldie who wastes public money and is worthless.
Coming to my assertion that in Govt one works in zero trust environment. Even though there is job security, there is always the threat of corruption charges, inquiries, police investigations, political interference which makes a public job much more risky than a corporate job where you can simply jump over and start afresh. Secondly, the red tape ensures the snail pace of work which makes PSU slow to adapt. But except afew corporates such as L&T who can deliver biggest of the projects its a fact that most of the biggest projects India has completed were done by PSUs.

NEW DELHI (Metro Rail News): National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has received bids from 25 companies for the preparation of General Arrangement Drawings (GADs) for various High-Speed Rail Corridors of length of 2365 km approximately.
As per NHSRL, present assignment is for Preparation of GADs of Crossing Bridges over Rivers/Canals/Railways/Roads (Expressway, NH & SH and Major District Roads) and GADs of Station Yards and Maintenance Depots for DPR of Various High Speed Rail Corridors as given below –

• Mumbai-Hyderabad High Speed Rail Corridor – 711 kms (Approx.)
• Delhi-Amritsar High Speed Rail Corridor – 459 kms (Approx.)
• Chennai-Mysore High Speed Rail Corridor – 435 kms (Approx.)
• Varanasi-Howrah High Speed Rail Corridor – 760 kms (Approx.)
• Total = 2365 kms (Approx.)

Tender No – NHSRCL/CO/CA/GAD/2021/06

Name of Work – Preparation of General Arrangement Drawings (GADs) of Crossing Bridges over Rivers/Canals/Railways and Roads (Expressway, NH & SH and Major District Roads) and GADs of proposed Stations and Maintenance Depots for Detailed Project Report (DPR) of Various HSR Corridors (about 2365 kms long).

The bids will be now sent for technical evaluation and after that, financial bids will be opened of the technically qualified bidders which will reveal the name of the lowest bidder and the most likely winner of this contract. The whole process will take another few months.
