Any reason why INR is falling compared to USD in all of June?

@Haldilal
Ya'll Nibbiars The RBI is busy building Foreign Exchange and is least concerned about keeping the rupees value. And but it's counter productive's. The Us dollars Index has the bullish view. And the Historically, we have seen that May remains a depreciating month for the rupee in over the last decade; where the Rupee has depreciated 9 out of 10 times in the month of May. Hence seasonality effect can play its role to trigger more depreciation.

Over the past few weeks, FIIs stopped pushing their flows or in fact withdrew money from equity markets mainly due to higher US bond yields and likely impact of strength in the US dollar. Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares worth Rs 14,520 crore for month of April and May. Adding further fuel, the negative real yields have made buying bonds unattractive pushing away investors from bond market too.

Ya'll Nibbiars Typewriter's. Yes once we used to manufacture type writer. But never made any plans for computing technology further. Focused on the Software not on the Hardware's and now facing the challenges to take off the electronics Industry's.

HCL made a office computer way back in 1978 and were in talk with IBM to make their initial products in India. The Then Janta Dal govt stopped them and IBM folded up their entire operations from India.

IBM had installed a Computer based system in India for Railways and could have computerized whole Indian Govt offices and PSU. But Janta Dal happened !!!!! :frusty: :frusty:

They did more harm by putting Indira govt out. Indira was not saint either but the damage by just 3 yrs of Janta Dal was huge.

Instead they are actually doing really good. Their home electronics business is doing great and contrary to your claim their products are more modern and visually pleasing then Samsung, LG and other western companies.
I’m talking about furniture, poor service.

Two Indian gujrati brothers started Gold Spots I guess. They worked hard for yrs in their own lab to replicate the taste and formula of Fanta or Mirinda and succeeded to create a better orange cold drink.
Again forced to abdicate during our globalization of early 90s. :frusty:

It should be brought back! But I heard some other guys bought the rights to the name and brought cheap orange cold drink with same name in south 2-3 years back and it failed.

Ya'll Nibbiars my is specific in which just in One meeting with the Sony CEO PV Narshima Rao changed the entire electronic policies Without taking confidence the Parliament or any other body and when modi makes a New Agricultural rules. The same Khangress forget's what they have done in the past without taking the specific sector's in confidence's.
Do You guys know PV Narsimha Rao learnt programming too after he became PM.
When he became PM his son was a Software Engineer in Silicon Valley. He was not happy with the manual systems everywhere in India and asked his son if he can send one PC to him with some manuals to learn and operate one.

His son sent some Programming manuals too with basic manuals. PVNR then learnt to operate a computer and became a good programmer too all by himself, self taught at home.

He was flabbergasted by the PC and most of his decision in 90s were influenced by his experience with that PC.
