How did Narendra Modi destroyed and embarrassed India in front of the world? Please describe his last 7 years period in short & few sentences?

The Destruction did not begin in 2014.

From 2014 - 2016 - Modi simply did his job , listened to good advise and built on all the plans that MMS had thought of but could not implement due to Political Cowardice on his part.

The Destruction began from 2016:-

Demonetization - The Clueless Move to destroy 90% of the Nations Currency apparently to remove corruption which rebounded on a Nation so badly that until today its effects have kept the economy from growing.Implementation of GST - The Decision to implement GST without a proper frame ended up in a lot of businesses managing to evade the tax net for 2 years claiming this and that. A Mere 1 year delay could have made the process Smooth.Go after Corrupt Businessmen - Every Businessman is a crook and every Defaulter is a crook. The Banking System is glutted with Criminal Defaults and bankers are scared of their own shadow. How will any finance lending system prosper?????Dividing the Country - A Bunch of Acts that had no apparent value except inciting the minorities such as CAA. Likewise Farmers Protests. Likewise the Religious Politics in every state (Luckily it collapsed in every single state like Kerala or TN or WB).ECONOMIC MISMANAGEMENT - Lies all of which were exposed. Financing for Non Realizable Projects like Bullet Train, Non Realizable Financing for most Highway Projects, Zero Transparency in Expenditure and non responsiveness to PILS, Burning money on worthless welfare projects instead of more worthy ones.

Is it right?

Ya'll Nibbiars

There's another issue which no one wants to admit. The common people always assumed that it is the rich who are corrupt and evil. Demonetization has shown the corruption of the 'poor'. The profit margins of those working in the informal sector like maids, drivers, vegetable vendors etc are dependent on non declaration of income and avoiding income tax. It doesn't mean they earn negligible. A road side banana seller makes 2,000 rupees daily. That's 60,000 rupees a month, all cash, no tax. These guys had to deposit all their cash in banks after demonetization. One kaamwaali bai reportedly deposited 10L in a day.

Many people in the construction business operate solely on cash. Everything from cement, marbles, labor, transport happens in cash. Now you can't even get raw material transported from one state to another because people have to show the GST receipt of the goods they are transporting at check nakas. Once the transport guy pays GST in full white money, he is not going to sell the material to the builder in black. So the builder has to buy in white. Profit margins go down, costs go up.

Business people already get massive tax rebates even if they legally pay their tax, still those people's never paid tax. They earned in black, stored in black and invested this black money in real estate. This was a much required chemotherapy for the nation.

MORE WORTHY WELFARE this is the catch line , you have been reading these threads for so long , some of them are somewhat mus managed but nothing in front of how much they are needed , also isn't farm reform necessary , wasn't caa necessary ,think about it .

Isn't bullet train a faster mode of transportation is necessary along golden quadrilateral , aren't highway necessary , what other is doing here is just shitting in screen , everything modi did is wrong but trade war , Chinese influence , outstanding NPA ,loans , defaulters etc are not the point ,and mind you ,more than any buisnessmen ,the biggest tax evader are those bureaucrat , politicians , those intellectual of delhi having lot of benami sampati .

You need to know state of mind of author to realize what he wanna say

Also the pan walas, the pan wala from whom is used to by cigarettes was asking his regular customers to deposit 20000/- Rs each in their bank accounts on his behalf. They make a lot of money especially in cities.

The excuse for these people is that they don't work in informal sector so they must not be taxed.
No politician will attempt to tax them either because opposition will do, garibo ki roti chin rahe ho.

Exotic dragon fruit or Kamalam from Maharashtra exported to Dubai

Posted On: 26 JUN 2021 5:05PM by PIB Delhi

In a major boost to export of exotic fruit, a consignment of fibre and mineral rich ‘Dragon Fruit’, also referred as Kamalam, has been exported to Dubai.A consignment of Dragon Fruit for exports was sourced from the farmers of Tadasar village, Sangli district, Maharashtra and it was processed and packed at APEDA recognized exporter – M/s Kay Bee.

Scientifically referred to as Hylocereusundatus, the dragon fruit is grown in countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, the USA and Vietnam.

Dragon fruit production commenced in India in early 1990s and was grown as home gardens. Dragon Fruit has become increasingly popular in recent years in the country as it has been taken up for cultivation by farmers across various states.

At present, dragon fruit is grown mostly in Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The cultivation requires less water and can be grown in various kinds of soils. There are three main varieties of dragon fruit: white flesh with pink skin, red flesh with pink skin, and white flesh with yellow skin.

Prime Minister Shri NarendraModi in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme in July 2020 on All India Radio had mentioned about the dragon fruit farming in the arid Kutch region of Gujarat. He had congratulated the farmers of Kutch for the cultivation of fruit for ensuring India’s self-sufficiency in the production.

The fruit contains fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It can help in repairing the cell damage caused by oxidative stress and reduce inflammation, and also improving the digestive system. Since the fruit has spikes and petals resembling lotus, it is also referred as ‘Kamalam’.

APEDA promotes exports of agricultural & processed food products by providing assistance to the exporters under various components such as Infrastructure Development, Quality Development and Market Development. Apart from this the Department of Commerce also supports exports through various schemes like Trade Infrastructure for Export Scheme, Market Access Initiative etc.

Safran considers India engine repair plant after mega Airbus order

France’s Safran SA is considering building an engine-repair facility in India, after winning its biggest-ever turbine deal last month with joint venture partner General Electric Co.

The project would be aimed at customers of the venture, CFM International, which was selected by

, the nation’s top airline, to supply

for 310 new Airbus SE A320-family aircraft.

A final decision and the timing of any project will be linked to global industry recovery and demand for engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services after the pandemic, a Safran spokesperson said in response to queries from Bloomberg News.

Ya'll Nibbiars

Started by Janki Das Kapoor, Atlas Cycles (Haryana) Ltd., previously known as Atlas Cycle Industries (ACIL), begin its operation with bicycle saddles in 1951 and later produced its first bicycle in 1952. The brand is named after the Greek Titan Atlas, mythically known for being condemned to hold up the sky for eternity. From a humble beginning of 120 cycles per day, the company had come a long way to progress as India’s second-largest cycle manufacturer. At the time of Atlas’s business peak, Its combined manufacturing capacity stood at a substantial 3.1 million cycles per annum. Atlas was also the largest exporter of bicycles from India, where the majority of its export was to Myanmar and South Africa. In addition to bicycles, the company exported components, bicycles, and mopeds. It also ventured into the fitness equipment market overseas.

At the peak of its success, Atlas awarded its shareholders six bonus issues between 1966 and 1994. While the rest of the world celebrated Bicycle Day on 3 June, Atlas Cycle (Haryana) Limited put its employees into temporary dismissals by merely pasting a notice outside its production plant in Sahibabad, Haryana. Over 700 employees suddenly went home without jobs on Wednesday. Atlas Cycles – a name that became a synonym for bicycles in India – has shut its last manufacturing unit in Sahibabad, just outside the national capital, citing a lack of funds to run the factory.

Earlier, the company planned to sell their portion of land to get the business going. However, the company’s spokesperson confirmed that they have been surviving unstable financial states since 2014 to the extent they were out of the capital to purchase raw material. The Sahibabad plant, capable of manufacturing four million bicycles a year, was working at less than 50 percent of its capacity. The closure notice was declared so suddenly and secretively, caught everyone by surprise that the workers’ union had little time to react.

However, the decline was not sudden. Between, 2014 and 2018, the company shut down two of its manufacturing plants. First – the Malanpur unit in Madhya Pradesh announced its closure and then, later, the Sonipat unit in 2018. One of the critical reasons for Atlas’s failure was the availability of new cheaper parts exporters from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. These affordable parts ate in the Atlas’s share in their biggest market – India as it allowed smaller players to manufacture cost-effective bicycles. The coffin’s final nail was the duty-free import from Bangladesh and Srilanka under the Agreement on South Asia Free Trade Area (SAFTA). The move led to an influx of cheaper bicycles into the Indian market from the two countries. But the game was never fair for Atlas as Bangladesh and Srilanka have protectionist policies that levied heavy import duty on products coming from India. So, while the Indian market was flooded with export from the two countries, prominent Indian players like Atlas could not export to the two countries. It thereby led to substantial losses. The company blamed the government for being neglected by the lopsided policies.
