I did not know where to post this but it seems there is massive multidimensional push against India and it's economy/ pharma industry by the 'ecosystem' and it's tentacles. Just look at these headlines and tell me if you don't see a pattern forming :

Interesting arcticle on Fab tools sale in Yr 2020, Total Sales increased over $71 Billion.

https://www.anandtech.com/show/16620/sales-of-fab-tools-surge-to-over-71-billion-in-2020

"SEMI, an organization representing chipmakers and producers of semiconductor production tools, published this week that sales of wafer processing equipment has surged to an all-time record of $71.19 billion for 2020. In the lead-up to the current chip crunch, equipment sales to South Korea and China noticeably spiked, with fabs in the former buying 61% more gear than in 2019, while China has risen to become the largest fab tool customer of all of the nations.

Overall, sales of fab equipment surged 19% from $59.75 billion in 2019 to $71.19 billion in 2020, according to SEMI. The substantial increase was driven by several factors. First and foremost, the world now consumes more chips than ever, and that consumption will only grow over time. Secondly, the competition between TSMC and Samsung Semiconductor (which has Foundry and Memory divisions) is escalating and both companies are spending more money on semiconductor equipment. Thirdly, next-generation lithography equipment (both DUV and EUV) is getting more expensive, so are other tools used in clean rooms. And finally, China is intensifying its domestic semiconductor efforts amid the trade war with the U.S."

Samsung's display arm begins production of mobile display in Noida
The UP government had previously approved special incentives to Samsung Display Noida Private Limited, which is making an investment of Rs 4,825 crore to relocate its mobile and IT display production unit from China to NCR in Uttar Pradesh, giving a boost to India's bid to expand local manufacturing, especially at the cost of China.

NEW DELHI: Smartphone major Samsung has started production of mobile display at its Noida manufacturing facility from this month, and will soon ramp up the production to make IT displays.

Samsung Display Noida Private Limited has started production from April. Currently, it is making only mobile displays at the Noida factory,” a person familiar with the matter told ET.

Beijing BOE Display Technology Co., Ltd, Tainma, LG Display and JDI are some other prominent display makers in the world. “Korean, Japanese, and Chinese brands are in space. Initially it will start on the assembly side and the process will increase,” Pathak said.

Thank God they have started production, I thought this was a vaporware project and they had cancelled it or something.
This is also probably the Govt's most famous catch for the SPECS scheme.
SPECS scheme is meant to incentivize production of electronic subcomponents in India.

after watching this interaction, based on the questions it feels as if top business people think QUAD is just another diplomatic project undertaken by GoI .

i wonder if there is recognition within Indian business community that the core of QUAD is fundamentally about supply chain resilience, in worst case scenario it is about keeping the imports and exports flowing via shipping lanes so that they can keep making their money.

secondly there should be an academic paper on how much revenues Indian manufacturers have lost due to globalisation in past 10-15 years.

Dude but most of it are sourced from chicoms, you know.
I say boult is selling a wireless one with India as a source of origin.
If you are true audiophile then wired ones are best.
Anyway back to topic, boat right now is practically doing copy paste let's hope in future they don't act like micromax.
Everyone is doing that. That's how you start. You can't start going against established supply chain. Only once you capture the market and have enough depth you can actually force major suppliers to set manufacturing near you or start building your own sub components.

India Gets Its First 'designated Officer' To Oversee Vehicle Recalls

The appointment ushers change in the vehicle recall procedure, which till now lacked any government intervention; official will have powers to initiate proceedings against an auto maker, if so warranted

Green hydrogen

The only way forward for our energy goal should be green hydrogen instead of ev , ev can retain a big spot but hydrogen should be the driving force.

IOC is in plane to turn methane into methane hydrogen mix with 18 % hydrogen content , this would bring down carbon emissions in cng vehicles .

Also hydrogen requirements in factory can be done away with this intead of oil or methane reforming one , csn be mixed with petrol too , it is a blessing for us

Good for quick pump and dump imo.
Is it safe to invest in crypto??

Once govt starts regulating these it will be nightmare.

I don't understand the 'safe' part...like security-wise? Money wise?
ya true forget safe part (no investment is safe).. just that regulators used to watch them very closely.
