Do not confuse corporate farming with contract farming. Farm laws allows contract farming where farmer can sign a contract with corporate to buy the produce at predetermined price. It helps in securing supply chain for corporate and farmer receives fixed price for the product. Agriculture laws are passed under concurrent list of entry 33: trade and commerce of agriculture commodities.
Agriculture land is a state subject (entry no 18). So, almost every state in India has banned corporate farming(except plantations like tea, cofee etc). So, if they are afaird of corporate farming they should block Chandigarh.
e.g. Maharashtra land laws mandate that if a company buys agriculture land for agriculture purposes, then GoM will confiscate those lands from private company.
