AFAIK, India had earlier rejected the swap from ECT to WCT. Don't know what made them accept the offer this time around? More stake?
One thing is certain , S Jaishankar knows pretty well how to leverage stuff in our interest. We can rely on him. But cant be said same for sri lanka. They want unhrc mein support as they had committed genocide against tamils. We will never support that.Tbh their goverment is very unreliable buttseksfags. They married to china yet want to continue a live in relationship with us .

Bihar recorded a 10.5% growth rate (at constant prices) in 2019-20, higher than the growth rate of the Indian economy (around 4.2 %), according to the Bihar Economic Survey 2020-21.

Sri Lankan government has lost our trust, they prefer China for trade, give a forum to IMRANdi KHANa to bark on Kashmir and then commit genocide against our own people and expect us to vote in their favour? Never infact we should grill their government further on forced cremation of Muslims due to Wuhan Virus Pandemic.

Wow I am baffled at the numbers. $82 Billion only in ports? How much capacity we are going to add?

Think this capacity will SERVE TRADING OF GOODS. The volume and value of such goods. The number of jobs due to that.
It is in addition to sagarmala imo as sagarmala itself is a $150 billion project, so this $83 billion will be in addition to it.

Yes, most of the major ports and private ports are undergoing modernization and capacity enhancement. With Major Ports bill, this will only grow.

Search for pdf of proposal of expansion/ master plan of major ports under Sagarmala. AECOM prepared the PDFs in 2016. For private ports, you can search for environmental clearance pdf, which has master plan of the port.
Although a lot of changes in the proposal have taken place, but it will atleast give you an idea.

I want to see Guwahati-Kolkata-Patna-Lucknow-Delhi economic corridor (on the lines of Delhi Mumbai economic corridor) and also the East West Economic Corridor which links Eastern part of India (Bengal, Assam , Odisha , Bihar , Jharkhand) to East Asian countries like Thailand Vietnam etc
10 trillion dollar economy by 2030 is not possible without increasing growth in this region

What is the incremental capacity targeted and where will it place India on world map?

They are building 6 mega-ports, treble to four times the size of Mundra I think. That would be easily make 4-5 Indian ports in the Top 10 largest ports in the world.
Ya'll Nibbiars 15 billion dollars will be dedicated towards the new port near Mumbai. It will be the largest almost many times size of planned other posts in the sagarmala. Would be able to compete with the Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore.

From 1500 MMTPA ( yr. 2015?) to 3300 MMTPA ( yr. 2025)

As per the studies conducted under the Sagarmala Programme, it is expected that by 2025, cargo traffic at Indian ports will be approximately 2500 MMTPA while the current cargo handling capacity of Indian ports is only 1500 MMTPA. A roadmap has been prepared for increasing the Indian port capacity to 3300+ MMTPA by 2025 to cater to the growing traffic.
