I feel Airbus will as the subcontinent is a big market plus their presence is already huge in India, they already produce components here, we should persuade Boeing also to manufacture here as we are world’s third largest Aviation Market so they should take us seriously...

Of course. The time has come and now the onus will be on Bhartiya youth also . Make in Bharat Airbus is very good idea. The knowledge gained out of this will be very helpful for AtmaNirbharta as well.

Knowledge is other think, Aircraft require a lot of components, it will create more indirect jobs compared to direct jobs, only a few thousand will get direct jobs but thousands of MSMEs and Startups will get employed, startups when earn will become bigger will do more innovation and we might also gain a lot, economic growth can be easily fueled through aircraft manufacturing, we should ask Airbus to shift their Chinese Tianjin A320neo plant to India in Hyderabad.

Already Tesla is opening a Manufacturing plant in India, so it gives a lot of confidence to other manufacturers.

We have got good expertise in manufacturing other components. For example we supply that transmitter receiver for aesa radar . BEL started producing it not only for us but for every rafale fleet in the world. We were only lagging behind that mofocking afterburner shit.Breakthroughs have been aleardy achieved in that 90KN thrust segment. Sources say breakthroughs will be achieved in 120KN thrust segments too. DRDO chief confirms we can now quickly build bigger jets.

We can make Afterburners, problem was sustaining the time for which afterburners can run.

Just one more term for yogi aditya nath , I won't be surprised if they become a trillion economy in 2028
Thats why commies are doing propaganda against him, calling him illiterate, militant monk, terrorist because he is developing UP rapidly, he should also make something for East UP also like textile industries and low level manufacturing.

Me thinks India should not pursue airbus or Boeing, they come with a lot of historical baggage and adversarial relationship between the two.

Both spend quite a lot of money to undermine the other, Indian industry will get caught in their fight. Airline industry by itself is a white elephant, which is in losses more often than not.

one crash and hundreds of billions of $ of corporate loans get stuck, without any provision for repayment extensions.

might as well start with small planes and mature over time.

For exports also, if we manage to snatch China’s Tianjin plant of Airbus we can easily give a blow to China.
