Make projects in Mumbai and Make environment on outskirts of Mumbai.

Too Ambitious dream.

I hope we are able to, but we should make Mumbai a skyscraper, infrastructur hub and an International level city as it will increase India’s economy by a huge margin.

But but but...

if India becomes 5 Trillion dollar economy by 2025, that means we will need a 25% growth rate to become 10 Trillion dollar economy by 2030, doesn’t it sound like a Jumla? I mean I can trust 2025 5 trillion dollar economy claim but 10 Trillion dollars till 2030 is a big fat jumla or over ambitious. But lets see, Goyal sahab is a respected man.
Is 5 trillion even possible by 2025?

We will suffering contraction in the second quarter and possibly the third too.

I feel like 2027-28 is a more appropriate timeline for 5 trillion considering how much we have suffered and are suffering even now.

For now it's jumla, why? who knows. I would rather want them to discuss what they are doing to help startups, speed up the infra development, get more investment, manufacturing, etc. but again common public just prefers much simpler summarised term so that's where your '5 Trillion 10 Trillion Gorillion ' comes in...

UP will become 1 Trillion by 2030 and if Maharashtra develops Mumbai and other cities and fills Mumbai will high rises and sky scrapers then Maharashtra’s GDP will cross 1 Trillion by 2030. By GIFT and Dholera, Gujarat can touch 750 Billion dollars, if Karnataka makes itself the IT hub then it can become a 600-700 Billion dollar economy by 2030, if you make Bihar an Agriculture Hub properly then it can reach 240 Billion dollar by 2030. North East can also play a big role in tourism and cross border trade.

Ya Nibba Mumbai has already become the fourth largest IT hub in India. At this rate will overtake even Bengaluru.

East Cost Economic Corridor is also there. We haven't used our East coast effectively for decades. Vanga and Kalinga used to be the richest kingdom in India simply because of Maritime trade. Ancient Magadha Empire to British India days these coasts has been strength of India. Kolkata was most developed City in early days of independent india. Commies ruined Kolkata.

ummm, highly ambitious for the likes of UP, you are asking a growth rate of ig 25 to 30% per annum...unless we include inflation in the picture. But I think this whole idea of 6 trillion or something maybe good for some top-level abstract view but to get on the ground, we will need leaders to actually act...otherwise, all this means nothing. Your points are very valid.

UP can definitely see growth thanks to its 200 million pop. 1 trillion won't cut it for them needs to be more.
They don't have a coast so they will have to make the best use of what they already have. That is Agri, Tourism, IT, High value manufactured goods, Finance and other small but lucrative sectors

Ya'll Nibbiars there are cities in Maharashtrians which has been overlooked for to long. Despite no goverment supports its peoples has self made it into a industrial hub. But with the goverment support it could be the industrial centers of India and along with this still a high environment in the city.

Mumbai is vital for the development of the country without it the development could be never happen.

I'm all for developing Mumbai mate but concentrating on just one city creates the situation like Tokyo. Where main Tokyo city has ridiculously high prices compared to other parts of japan. The prices and living standard of Mumbai are not to great in the current state and million of people pour into the city every year.

Ya Nibbiars we need a first class port city without it we would never become a export hub. Shanghai was important for the mlecchas. And me need Mumbai for it. There are other cities like Mangalore, Kochi, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Cuttak and Kolkata without this we can never become a export hubs.

Our Election commission has the picture clear.
Constituency are divided according to their population and representation.

There should be an effort to create a Economic activity in each of these blocks. Or we would end up in a situation where one has to sell a liver and kidney to go to start life in mumbai

Ya'll Nibbiars without expansion of the JNPT we can never become a export hubs. We have the second busiest container port in the subcontinent that is stuck due to fundings. Unless more funding are made we can never have a port which can compete with Singapore and Shanghai.

UP is seeing investment in the defence manufacturing sector, it along with Bihar can use their fertile lands for agri products, with a population closing to many countries they can/have the capability to invest in multiple sectors.

Ya'll Nibbiars always the Costal cities would be more prosperous due to the Trade and commerce. We need to fund the Costal cities to develop other areas.

We already have many Industrial Corridor Projects so we already know which cities are our cash cows. We need to focus on those. Rapidly need to complete these projects.
