India’s sovereign rating to remain unchanged despite pandemic impact: S&P

India’s sovereign rating will remain unchanged at the current level of BBB- for the next two years despite the potential adverse impact of surging pandemic on its economy, said a top official at S&P Global Ratings on Friday.

However, the country would witness a slightly faster pace of growth in the next couple of years, effectively supporting the sovereign rating, he said.

There comes the insecurity of china when India moves ahead.

with chinese slavery linked production in chinese factory..it was sensible to import then.
Plus chinese supported congress party in India..the indian govt then ruined the domestic industry in India for chinese players.
now the correction is happening..and chinese worry is understood..and the chinese need to underline the insecurity of china.

:rofl:Not for long china will have the advantage

Industry reacts to India’s production-linked PV incentive scheme

corrections are made to reduce the dependence.

doesnt make china India's friend or a friend of the world after the covid bio weapon by china.

But until now, 80% of the solar energy equipment in the Indian market was imported from China.
Because of the huge and complete industrial chain, China's price advantage is very obvious.
India's business climate has improved markedly in recent years. But there are too many problems, especially in this case.

India, EU to build joint infrastructure projects in Asia, Africa

NEW DELHI: The EU and India will build joint infrastructure projects in Africa, Central Asia and the Indo-Pacific, an Indian Foreign Ministry official said on Saturday, after the conclusion of bilateral talks.

India and the EU also revived stalled free trade negotiations, while also seeking closer cooperation to combat climate change, as concerns about China bring Brussels and New Delhi closer.

EU-India trade talks were frozen in 2013 over differences including tariff reductions, patent protection, data security and the right of Indian professionals to work in Europe.

A 2020 study by the European Parliament put the benefits of a trade deal for the EU with India at up to €8.5 billion ($10.2 billion), although the estimate was made before Britain’s departure from the bloc.

The problems will be worked out.
There is no progress without problems.
Problems are part of progress...so not good to lose sleep over "problems"

I know that, shouldn’t we make schemes like PLImfor manufacturing to bring jobs relevant to the next industrial revolution by incentivising it giving incentives to set up companies here?

This is what we often call some industries, and the monopoly position of some countries in this respect is difficult to shake.

For example, in the shipbuilding industry, 92% of the world's shipbuilding orders are in the hands of China(43%), Japan(7%) and South Korea(41%). Because of Complete Industrial Chain , the huge cost advantage of China, Japan and Korea, it is difficult for other countries to compete with them.
The same is true for social software of the United States, and it's hard to find other software in the world VS Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, whatsApp.
