@ezsasa related to the old base year still being used
Although great achievement but cute of you to think that around $16 billion dollars worth of annual smartphone exports is alone going to help us. Even if it reaches $70 billion by 2030 it will still remain very minute. Fresh investments need to come to make sure our industrial output doesn't grow at usual 4 to 5 percent every month.
Oh my gawd tf has suddenly happened? Looks like the Lithium mining news has brought senses to some biggies.

BYD seeks nod for $1 billion plan to build EVs, batteries in India
BYD and privately held Hyderabad-based Megha Engineering and Infrastructures have submitted a proposal to Indian regulators to form an EV joint venture, the people said, asking not to be named because the application is private. The longer-term plan is to build a full line-up of BYD-brand EVs in...economictimes.indiatimes.com
Gormint should make sure this happens. Even if a chink firm.
Isn't olectra already making them here?
Hope its export oriented, if Tesla and BYD actually end up producing here, it would be a major W similar to getting Apple here.View attachment 214441
EV Bus Sales as per FADA.
Some states do not report on time.
So no would be higher.
Our local players are having 20-25 times sales figure of outsiders.

How are ADATA's RAM modules? I found them to be cheaper than the rest.ADATA makes memory modules, i.e RAM sticks that go into PCs, Servers and some laptops
This is what a laptop DIMM module/RAM stick looks like

They also made SSDs and other adjacent items.
ADATA is also a small player in these markets, like RAM stick module market is dominated by Corsair, Gskill for consumer and your DRAM chip makers like Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron for business and OEM markets.
So if a small company is so confident in India, big companies must not be far out.
They haven't if you take UNFPA projections into account. As for BD's official estimates, we all know how 'reliable' those are.BangBros have overtaken India in exports per capita even though most of it is textiles, which will be problematic for them in future, its still a worrying trend.
A rise in prices of raw materials globally and worldwide supply chain disruptions have led to value addition in readymade garment (RMG) products in Bangladesh dropping to a record low of 54.37 per cent in the fiscal 2021-22 (FY22) from 59 per cent in FY21, according to a Bangladesh Bank report. Value addition had started declining since FY20, the bank data showed.
The value addition in FY20 decreased to 56.84 per cent from 64.32 per cent in FY19. Though value addition in RMG products slightly increased in FY21, it showed a downward trend in the first half of FY22.
Value addition dropped to 55.80 per cent in the July-December period in 2021-22.
Everything imported from you know where. The value addition remained lower than the pre-pandemic 64.32 per cent in fiscal 2018-19, the data showed.
Bangladesh is dependent on imported raw materials like cotton, petrochemicals and chemicals, despite being the second largest exporter of RMG.
There is a reason why the highest slab is imposed on cement;
Solar flare bohot door ki baat hai.I have a question which I haven't been able to find an answer to for the past couple of days. This is the only thread which maybe somewhat relevant.
So last week I met an interesting character while covering a news segment for something else entirely. This man was a "Prepper". First one I have seen or heard of in India. I mean this guy wasn't as much of an idiot as the preppers we see in USA. He was smart and was just thinking ahead for his family. One thing he said really stuck with me.
He said India's current financial infrastructure just isn't ready for a massive solar flare. He said earth missed one by just a couple of hours less than a decade ago. So I researched further and found out that massive solar flares can knockout satellites and shortout electronics.
So my question is if such an event strikes earth tomorrow are the servers in our Indian banks capable enough to keep my financial data protected? Will I lose all my money? What about my other financial data?
They did not let Great Wall Motors in and are forcing a domestic takeover of MG; EV is an important strategic sector - no way they would let a market leader like BYD in. Also look how they are proposing a 'JV' not with Tatas, Mahindra or Eicher but with Megha who have no expertise in EVs. BYD has been eyeing Indian market for years now; nothing worked yet so engaging in innovative shithousery like proposing JVs with newbies. It is ok to let Apple in because we don't have domestic competitors; in automobiles we definitely do - hope babus don't fuck it up.Oh my gawd tf has suddenly happened? Foxconn may partner with TSMC and TMH to set up fab units
Foxconn is likely to soon finalise the details of the partnership to manufacture both advanced and legacy node chips, a source close to the development told ET.m.economictimes.com
Their partner is MEIL because they already have a JV with them. Olectra greentech is more or less rebadged BYD buses. They have proposed a large manufacturing plant at Seetharampur Industrial Park, but the fact that the investment is only 500 crores tells you it is mostly screwdrivering imported components. They did not let Great Wall Motors in; EV is an important strategic sector - no way they would let a market leader like BYD in.
