People dont talk enough about how almost every Indian industrialists during our boom phase wholesale outsourced construction and equipment supplies to the Cheenis. Adani, Ambani and Vedanta are the worst offenders. Adani still does this to this day

Ya'll Nibbiars The Online Gambling/Gaming Indiustry is dead for good The 100 to play on 72 pot entry 28 percent Gross GST, and if they win 54 after platform fees, they will pay 30 percent TDS on that. And like that the Gambling industry is taken down not in the court rooms but by the taxes.

I am very curious as to why private industrial parks in India are not a thing. The only exception i can think of is Reliance MET. This is one of the biggest reasons why Industrial parks in Vietnam looks 100x cleaner, greener than Indian industrial parks. babooze should stop taking trips to Singapore and go to vietnam instead and replicate this

Even their govt owned IPs have excellent road infrastructure and are clean and green. Meanwhile if you zoom into most IPs in India, you can literally see the filth and garbage from satellite imagery. I wonder how much life expectancy is shaved off for the workers toiling there.

Large scale manufacturing in India is a boat that sailed long ago. This government is more interested in bringing big contractors than help MSMEs. MSMEs in china are leaps and bounds ahead when it comes to supplying stuff.

Can someone tell MBA executives that there is no such thing as Artificial intelligence? People who are working in the field call that as "Machine Learning". No, you can't train people on AI because it doesn't exist. You want to train people on Machine learning? It's not possible. You can't train them. It is a broad field which requires good mathematical skills to get started. Maybe you can train them in data analytics and data visualization. MBA level executives and ones who are in leadership board of many companies are speaking about what they call "AI" without a clue about what underpins the technology. Everyone wants to jump on the next AI hype train these days.

Wipro and other big Indian service companies should learn to inculcate the habit of building products and derive revenue from it. How long they are going to milk the IT services from foreign clients? By now, they should have had few SaaS products on all 3 big cloud providers. But none are working even close to that.

it's not their business model to develop products, their business model is body shopping. instead of altering their core business of body shopping model, Wipro as a company is investing in startups.

Nimo Tai working overnight making sure your only manufacturing success gets sour.
our vehicle manufacturing sector is not so weak that a policy clarification on SUV definition and 2% hike in cess will turn "success into sour". have some confidence in crores of people who built this industry for decades.

Thats why I used the word sour, instead of collapse. Automobile sales growth alone can help us a lot in increasing industrial production since they're like half of the entire manufacturing output of India.

my argument is that 2% additional cess on scorpio type vehicles will not effect sales.

picked this random numbers from march 2023 car sales. out of 20, 5 fall in this 2% additional cess category.

whether industry will be happy with this clarification so that they don't have to go to arbitration tribunal for every SUV model, to get it classified for tax rate is debatable.

They look cleaner because vietnamese are fundamentally cleaner people than us. Visit Vietnam you can see it for yourself.

You are underestimating addicts; there is a reason they are taxing the eff out of it.
