According to Aarti Singh, Senior Director, IT and DA and CIO at Boeing India, the new facility will include various labs, testing infrastructure, and part of its R&D operations, while most engineers will continue to work from the Boeing India Engineering & Technology Centre in Bengaluru's Bagmane Tech Park.
According to reports, this new facility will be heavily involved in research on eVTOLs (electric, vertical, takeoff, and landing) vehicles and achieving Boeing's sustainability goal of hitting net zero emissions by 2050.

The opening of the new campus underscores India's significance as a key market for Boeing in both commercial and defence sectors. Boeing has historically focused its facilities within the US and the campus in India underlines Boeing’s importance as a major commercial and defence market for the aircraft maker, which is hoping to gain more traction and market share in the coming years.

Once completed, the new campus and project is expected to generate around 3,000 jobs. The company has operations across the country with field service offices in Mumbai, Hindan, Rajali, and New Delhi. With a workforce of over 4,000 employees, Boeing India is a major player in the country's aerospace and defence sector.

Been seeing few of this discussions popping up in twitter recently that Modi is using Ambani/Tata and Adani to build huge conglomerates to push industrialization in India similar to how Japan and SK did it
This was discussed here a while back around the time haifa port deal became public.

We already have big Guys for India for some time.
1. TATA
2. Reliance
3. Adani

These guys always came to discussion when it comes to Opposition.

But we have big players who have say in governments like L&T which pretty much have large number of projects ranging from Highways to Defence Godrej group, Birla Group, Big Construction companies like AFCONS, DilipCon etc. Airtel, VI in Telecom and how GOI saved VI to have some competition. MSIL in automobile industry, our Bike manufacturers. Slow and steadily once semiconductor manufacturers will be shielded in coming years. This may include Vedanta group also if they setup some plant

A plea in the Kerala high court has claimed that the Vizhinjam sea port construction work was causing noise pollution in the area.

Refuting the allegation in the plea, moved by a Thiruvananthapuram-based resort, the Vizhinjam International Sea Port Ltd and Adani Vizhinjam Port Pvt Ltd claimed the sound generated by the construction activity, during day and night, was below the noise standards contained in the environmental, health, and safety guidelines.

From Jake Sullivan

"He said that India was aligning more with the US because of its tense relations with China, particularly after deadly border clashes in the Galwan Valley in 2020. “The Indians don’t advertise this . . . but it had a kind of 9/11, Pearl Harbor-style impact on the strategic thinking of their elites.”" 👍
