Thats the problem. These Jan dhan chutiyas never want to get out of poverty.

To give u a example - Many poor were alloted 1 & 2 BHK homes in nearby cities... They all took possession and in turn rented them out to poor labourers who were looking for cheap housing.. and guess what they went back to same places in slums where they came from demanding new homes!!!!!!!!!!!
They will then again beg for new homes, this is how these chomus live their life, I’ve heard Dharavi chomus were also given homes but they rented them and started living in slums again, these lowlives are being allowed to do so by government as well.
That happens mostly when they're given homes way far off from their place of employment. The earlier Dharavi resettlement failed because of this. The redevelopment model is the way to go. To house a billion people and keep the rents within reach, obviously we'll need to build a lot of redundancy. Abhi redundancy is a far off dream, sufficiency hi nahi hai

Actually it's the lack proper ring roads and motorways inside/surrounding our cities. Our cities are poorly designed compared to east asian cities.

Mumbai City is on an Island called Salsette Island. So ringroad is mot possible, we need sea links around the city to navigate out of population areas, but the cost of traveling through sea links will be equal to cost of Expressway. Lol

U need to wait till your battery needs a replacement. that alone with be near 50% of new car cost and all your savings will be gone in 60 seconds !!!!!!!
That's why hydrogen EVs are the future. The only problem with hydrogen is the electricity problem. If we can build enough nuclear plants to replace coal plants, then we'll get pollution free hydrogen. Cost should eventually decrease with economy of scale. Thankfully, GoI has a proper plan for hydrogen EVs.

well, the quoted examples had people given home within 10 Kms of work place... think that,s fair enough , more so when you are getting home worth lakhs for free....

Exactly the sort of industries we need to run after. The figure is insultingly low. These sectors have pretty high labour requirements and lower value addition, perfect for poverty elevation. Gujarat has a complete monopoly in many of these sectors like ceramics and seem to be the only state even serious about this

One of the few Indian company who can build orders of this scale
Ya'll Nibbiars one of the few companies in the world. And only due to them Reliance Industries exist in the current forms thanks to L & T forcefully acquired 1 billion dollars then in 1989 at zero interest when Ambani was looking the L & T.

This is shambolic from modi regime...Hope NIP doesn't end up becoming meme..8 years in government and still behaving like opposition..what to do with this babudom..modi government has been disastrous on disinvestment

The nodal agency, Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) declares that “the proceeds of disinvestment are credited into National Investment Fund (NIF) constituted in November, 2005 and are used for the approved purpose, as decided from time to time.”
But that is completely misleading. There is no account of NIF. The DIPAM doesn’t provide any detail other than the above declaration, nor does any other central government agency or budget documents. Even the three CAG reports mentioned earlier are silent about it.

‘Handling Hydrogen is too dangerous. For consumers to handle it all the time is inviting uncontrollable fires. Moreover compressed Hydrogen gas if accidentally released then it heats up and then it can set off a fire.

Hydrogen won't be handled by consumers directly. In India we've petrol pump attendants to do that.

Compressed hydrogen when released will escape rapidly before it catches fire. It won't explode like LPG cylinders. It's safer than LPG and even petrol cars.
