Most of the growth that people on the left rave about during UPA 1 was more to do with a good global economic tide lifting all boats than Manmohan Singh or the Congress's economic policies. In today's adverse global economic climate India would need major reforms to get close to that again.

It's also interesting how badly Pakistan has done, going from one of the richest south asian countries to the second poorest per capita after Afghanistan.

Religiosity isn't necessarily a problem. The United States was extremely religious when it was at India's standards of living and first industrializing. What is important is having a religion that promotes the creation of wealth. A type of mercantilist Hinduism analogous to the type of Christianity in America would be much preferable to the 'Secular' Gandhian socialism that celebrates poverty and has been the unofficial religion of India since independence.
Also even outside the US the strong correlation between religiousity and wealth is more due to wealth reducing the need for religion than the other way around. As India becomes more industrialized and urbanized it will naturally become less religious without the need of the government forcing it on the population a la Mao.
The government needs to focus on industrializing like it should have since independence and most other things will come naturally.
Tl; dr,
Things are just easier when u have less population and shit load of resources.
A Indian nigga faces several problem in pursuit of life.

Ya'll Nibbiars this religion economic co relations is pragments of some ones Imagination. The Far eastern countries were religious wen they were developing and even now they are after developed. And Can't see everything with the western lenses this developing leads to less religious is nothing but hogwash. If that was the case Texas wouldn't have even been developed. Malaysia would never had enjoyed higher standards of livings.

Internal consumption must be increased to raise Economic and development indices.

One of the things

Milk consumption of states can be increased and Industry around it can be setup.
Each and every state can benefit from this specially the land locked ones as the final product is transported within the same state/ District.
It will provide jobs for the.
Dairy owners.
The manufacturers.
Transporters.
Retailers.

Some 20 folks will get job for a dairy farm with 100 cattle.

Ya'll Nibbiars now no one wants to keep cow or Buffalo even in villages the cost of raising animals has increased higher than the rates they get for milk per litre. If the rate are increased there would be out cry among the consumers. A large scale milking industry is only options here. Rather than every individual in rural areas raising cattles.

Not advocating for cattle rearing in homes more like a small dairy unit with proper infra, storage, logistics and technology.
Say a dairy with 100 cattle, Milking machine, cattle waste collection and Food storage structures.

Great observation many economists are predicting globalisation as dead after the pandemic exposed our supply chains and how dangerous it is to rely on one country for all manafacturing

They are a product of a society that encourages their children to be self dependent and rational thinkers.
By the time they turn 18 many of them have build their own house, started his own startup or a got patent to their name or written a novel or developed a software.
An average American, by the time he/she turns 18 might have achieved more in life that many of us cannot even dream of achieving in our 40's.

And we do have such people but the society and the rigid environment does not allow them to flourish compelling many of them to migrate abroad.
I will agree with few points but why do you think every guy should be getting a patent or having their own startup. That's a rat race.

even that per capita gdp figure is fake in case of pakistan because its not reflected on parameters like average life expectancy , infant mortality rate and maternal mortality rate
pakistan has performed way poorer than india on these parameters

The idea of "progress" in atheist terms is itself childish and delusional, "prosperity" as high as the standards of any atheist are is simply not sustainable long term.
I am not a proponent of atheism or any other belief.I was merely point out the inverse correlation trend between religiously and prosperity of a nation.

My take is that Religion is only good till it limits itself to personal belief.
But often this is not the case, more often it usually become a tool of suppression and repression.

You can see most "religious countries" are often the biggest violators of human rights.

As for your religion being the cause of retardation and evil in society, 97% or something of your school shooters are atheists. Atheists lead the world in the worst statistics like suicide, depression, drug abuse etc.
Attributing gun violence in US to Atheism is plain stupid. China is mostly atheist and so are many other countries, why gun violence is not prevalent over there ?

US has a gun culture since their formation which transcends their religious belief and customs. This along with their lax gun laws allows for such violence. They sell guns like we sell tomato and potatoes.

If India didn't have such stringent anti gun laws,we would have witnessed a far bigger gun violence than prevalent in the US.

And If you check the available statistics then you will find that deeply religious countries are top rank holders in murder, crime, terrorism, rape, durg abuse and every other nihilist activities

How exactly would allowing radical globohomo LGTV behavior help our society or make it greater? Which society has it helped anyway?
Homosexuality is not a mental disorder rather it is a normal and natural variation in human sexuality as per science and United Nations and whether you accept it or not a significant portion of Indian and global population are gays.We have to treat them as humans and not discriminate against them just because it's against our religion.

It's quite laughable that many religious people find homosexuality to be offensive but have no problem with
first cousin marriage which often leads to genetic disorder and other health problems.

America?

>Wages haven't risen relative to inflation for 97.5% of people since 1970
>Education 1000x as expensive
>Vehicles 300x as expensive
>Health care 3500x as expensive
You are talking of an America where an average person can afford to buy high end SUV's
You are talking of an America where close to 10% of the population are millionaires.
No doubt there are struggling families even there but the average population is well off

It was under religion and traditional cultural values that America was progressing. It is under Globohomo degeneracy and atheist liberalism that it is at the present juncture.
The United States is still numero uno in the world and is far ahead of the next big power China.

United States has the ability to attract the best of the best talents available in the world which ensures it remains the leader in cutting edge science and technology. And They will continue to dominate the world for the foreseen future.

Because most religious countries have been oppressed that's why they are poor. America was at height of it's power when most of them were Religious so is the case of every western country.
Atheism is a generation x and millennial phenomenon.

Economy can also grow without homosexuality, it is not a necessity.

Exclusively a South Indian thing and in north majority is practiced by Muslims.
In South alos it is decreasing every year. It's a cultural thing not a religious one.
