Sugarcane ??
Ya'll Nibbiars Sugar cand by product is Molasses from which get Ethanol a large part is just wasted as there is no demand for that much ethanol and production capacity but can be utilized. And 3vwn without affecting the sugar canw demand's. And can't get as much as effective source of ethanol.

Ya'll Nibbiars Sugar cane-based industry is more efficient than the U.S. corn-based industry. Sugar cane ethanol has an energy balance seven times greater than ethanol produced from corn. U.S. corn-derived ethanol costs 30% more because the corn starch must first be converted to sugar before being distilled into alcohol. Sugarcane cultivation requires a tropical or subtropical climate, with a minimum of 600 mm (24 in) of annual rainfall. Sugarcane is one of the most effective Photosynthesizers in the plant kingdom, able to convert up to 2% of incident solar energy into biomass. And without out leaving harmful by products like other's. Ethanol produced from sugarcane provides energy that is renewable and less carbon intensive than oil and solar. Bioethanol reduces air pollution thanks to its cleaner emissions, and also contributes to mitigate global warming by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Alstom, Hitachi, Hyundai-Rotam, Titagarh already there!
Bombardiar was there but it has been overtaken by someone right?
Titagarh took over Firema and the product is from them.

As more cities are opting for Metros/ lite/ neo more opportunities will come and MCF doesn't want to miss out on the opportunities.

Even for RRTS.
Now RRTS is concentrated around NDLS. But in future Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Ahmadabad will have their version of RRTS.

Ya'll Nibbiars most of it's is wasted as there is not much demand and hardly amount is actually utilized. A large amount is just not even extracted.

Is there any report verifying this? In and around UP most of sugarcane by-product is absorbed by distilleries.

Bombardier, Alstom are building the coaches in India.
BEML ( Hyundai Rotem), Titagarh are also making the coaches in India.

Initially train sets were imported.

Also, CRRC probably doesn't have any manufacturing in India. And due to present situation, might not have in future or needed to have in future.

A close friend of mine who’s father works in Ministry of Highways and Transport told me that the New Delhi-Palwal RRTS will be extended to Agra making huge tourism related business prosper even further as Taj Mahal is one of the places foreigners plus domestic tourists visit a lot.

Also Medha is entering the rolling stock market.
And there is ICF as well. Though their initial attempts were poor the latest CBTC enabled rakes they made are decent.
