This year defence budget is 4.78 lakh crore ($65.5 billion) our Current GDP is $ 2.6 trillion 20-21 (not projected GDP for 21-22)
Defence budget is 2.51% of our current GDP not bad but hopping for 3%+ maybe next year when covid situation get under control

MMRCA/114 MRCA is essential requirement of IAF with budget like this IAF need to wait couple of years more to get financial go ahead form MOF
MRCA projected cost is 28 to 33 billion dollars
