After all the talk of F INSAS and how the army needed to modernize, it is 2020 and here are my observations:

The IA still lacks the following:

Standard Camo
Standard Plate Carriers (BPJs)
Standard Assault Rifles, DMRs, and GPMGs

The government needs to take money out of the RBI and modernize the forces. If that means running an extra 50 billion USD deficit for a few years, so be it. The Indian armed forces deserve proper equipment and this is not happening fast enough. I see the pictures of the armed force and I shake my head in disgust at the politicians who let them down.

It looks a like the vehicle that was jumbled together for Crowd Controlling in the Narrow Streets of the Encounter Sight. It is sorta armoured which protects the two guys inside from Rocks, Stones and other Objects thrown by the OGW Jihadis in the streets.

They look much better than previous BPJs and Carriers.
