Govt I doubt even those killed while stone pelting should not be compensated. If BJP cant stop this then whats the use. Once cross border trade stops then we will see less and less money with hurriyat.

Sorry bro this is still not the right time to keep singing songs praising about this Doval . These are things which are nothing looking new army and CRPF has been hunting down terrorist before 2014 too it's not that all of sudden there is Tango causality . And for his level of NSA this is nothing let's praise and appreciate him when he come up something concrete to eliminate LWE terror and also recover POK till then i will take his capabilities with a bag of salt . .

No offence but, no one can disagree with the fact that Doval has done more for this country than those complaining about him combined have done. PoK cannot be taken back without a mini-war, and you seriously think that now we can fight it (not doubting our IA capability even a bit, I am talking about the desired result with less casualties)? In all possibility it will escalate, and there is a chance of a two-front war too, and with our weapons, the number of casualties will be many-fold than we want. Why do you suppose the PMO has fast-tracked defence projects and partnerships in defence with leading suppliers worldwide. The defence acquisitions have been quite stagnant and corruption clad the last 10 year (pre-2014), and now we have acquired a few weapons and necessary stuff for the Army in the last 2-3 years which the IA have been wanting for the last 10-15 years. Now, just because you have to blame somebody for the ongoing crisis, you don't have to target Mr Doval for it.
Yes, I agree there have been a few shortcomings, but there is very little a man can do with all the rot the country was laden with in the last 60 years. Change cannot be institutionalized overnight, everything that can be done is being done. If you still don't see it, well, there's not much one can do.

Similarly, you can't fight with an enemy who employs savagery and is at your doorstep. We should tweak the play a little, they should fear us, they should fear coming out in the streets to pelt stones on the Armed Forces, and the IA should go a step ahead to ensure that. Sri Krishna says that nothing we do is wrong to ensure the upholding of Dharma, only Dharma is ultimate and we can uphold it with any means necessary. And in this case, protecting the Country from enemies is Dharma. If this is the way to do so, so be it. No individuals' life is more important than the Country itself, so I am in support for anything which is employed to put down the ^^freedom movement^^ in Kashmir. Someone who supports terrorists is equally a terrorist, so what do you do? Put up with them and pacify them with sweets or put them down to prevent further nuisance. I would the latter.

Totally agree, and perhaps I misread you, apologies. Hope you understood that I didn't belittle the IA. Anyways, coming to your second point, it is widely known in the security circles that a war is unlikely anytime immediate. All they want is to spread us thin and waste our resources, thus proxy war. And what we are doing is, making sure we have enough war supplies and our defence requirements is met in case of a war in near future (not immediate). Well, that's in regard to Pakistan. Coming to China, all they want to do is test us, they won't start off a war with India for the sake of Sikkim or Arunachal (their supposed part of Tibet), as they would lose a lot more. If there a blown out war with China (with the assumption of a non-nuclear war), there is high probability that countries which are in dispute with China will fight for their disputed regions, and a civil unrest is likely due to the authoritarian state (atleast in a few regions), as the Army would be busy fighting the war.
