Anybody here tracks EV market? have the consumers accepted sales pitch of electric vehicles?
In cars segment, Nexon EV has captured the markets along with lower sales of MG EV and Kona.
In 2 wheelers, Ather and Bajaj are only prominent sellers. Ather has good market in South and planning to expand in 12 further cities in early 2021. Bajaj Chetak electric is only available for 3-4 cities as of now I guess.

Not sure how bikers in this forum missed this new launch .

Honda has challenged RE in its turf with brand new launch of Hness CB350 last month bike reviews are really good just that it is not giving that oopmh factor which bullet rider gets . but nevertheless a very good quality product from Honda which will put RE ass on fire to deliver better quality products and service

Nissan is going to launch its First Compact UV aka crossover Magnite on Dec 2nd . This one is do or die for Brand Nissan in India and they are expected to come with some aggressive pricing which may create a shakeout in the 8-10 lakhs segment or may become a dud like Tata Nano

RE surprised everyone with the new gen Meteor launch.
The bike has refinement level which is almost unbelievable from RE.
New OHC engine with counter-balancer, Double cradle chassis was made the riding very smooth.
In the segment it is positioned it is almost on par with Honda H'gness CB350. Honda is even smoother but thats understandable for a company like Honda but the gearing is too tall in CB350.

RE is promising a new launch in every quarter for next 7 years :clap2::clap2:

Its good to have competition . Honda entry in RE segment will only push RE to work harder to bring better products they were almost feeling invincible in Cruiser bike segment .

Meteor is good but that what people were asking RE for so many years .

Pravaig Dynamics is the first Indian EV maker to claim such a huge range in its first commercial offering. Volkswagen ID.3 can barely do 500 kms yet. Tesla Model 3 performance variant claims a range of 507 kms in single charge. In India, the EV with the highest range is Hyundai Kona EV with a claimed range of 452 kms. MG ZS EV, which has a range 340 kms, is still in process to upgrade to a range of 500 kms.

Y'all Nibbiars, Safari is coming back!
Tata will name Gravitas 7 seater (7 seater version of Harrier) as Safari.
Will be launched by end of this month.

https://www.team-bhp.com/news/tata-brings-back-iconic-safari-nameplate

From the article:
Tata Motors has announced that the upcoming Gravitas 7-seater SUV will be called Safari. Bookings for the new model will open later this month.

The Tata Safari was one of the first proper SUVs that were introduced in the Indian market. While it wasn't the most well sorted, it still has gained iconic status among the masses.

The new Safari is essentially a 7-seater version of the Harrier with 3 rows of seats. It shares the same OMEGARC platform that is derived from Land Rover's D8 architecture.

The styling of the new Safari is based on Tata's Impact 2.0 design language. The front fascia is similar to the Harrier, but it gets a more upright rear section to accommodate the third row of seats. The SUV will be offered with optional captain seats in the second row. The dashboard of the car is also similar to the Harrier and features a floating touchscreen infotainment head-unit and a semi-digital instrument cluster.

The Safari is expected to be offered with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 170 BHP and 350 Nm of torque. The engine could be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Expect TaMo to do such stupid stunt they killed two products with one stone, Harrier was gaining its own space and by now naming 7 seater harrier as Safari they killed both the products , Old Safari used to come with 4*4 i don't see Gravitas aka Naya Safari is having 4*4 option at all .

They are building good cars which not only drive good but also start looking good , Hope they get their act right in challenging the fucking top 2 who are fleecing customers with 8 inch or 10 inch screen gimmicks

Ya'll Nibbiars when the first indica was launched in the same year as the santro. It was not a runaway success like the Hyundai. And faced quality problems, engine problems, delayed deliveries and canceled orders. And until the V2 came with the a high budget for advertisement and marketing. But the delays in launching of the Vista again aged the basic first generation even more and unable to keep up with the technology made a bad Image for the Tata motors.

Ya'll Nibbiars it's was not until the V2 launch that the Vehicle seen higher numbers. And it becomes a market leader in it's segments and also due to being available for the commercial market.
