I have seen many test comparision of Hexa and innova. Hexa is at par or has a slight edge. At the end of the test, they say that toyota engines are very very good and user friendly and maintenance free. They are not sure about TATA engine. I would say that you can not just spend 50% higher amount assuming that TATA car shall have a big maintenance. Innova just do not justify 50% to 60% higher cost compared to Hexa because of TOYOTA brand.
Hexa is atleast 20% more fuel efficient than lnnova.

As per the reliability factor, this vericor 400 has been doing its job for the past over 10 years on the Safari, so it is pretty reliable, considering Safari has been a success and also has a huge cult following like RE Bullet does.

Exclusive: Tata Harrier Bookings Open On October 15

Tata Motors will accept bookings for Rs 30,000, and deliveries will start within a month of the launch.

Tata Motors has been revealing details about the upcoming Harrier compact SUV for some days and carandbike can now exclusively confirm that the company will start accepting the bookings for it on 15 October 2018. The Tata Harrier is one of the most hotly anticipated launches in the passenger car market. S N Barman, Vice President, Sales & Network, Passenger Vehicle Division, Tata Motors has confirmed the news to carandbike saying, “We will start accepting bookings for the all-new Harrier for an amount of Rs. 30,000.” Further sharing details about the pricing and deliveries, Barman added, “We are evaluating an introductory price for the Harrier when we will launch the SUV in January 2019 and we are also planning to start the deliveries within a month of the launch.”
That is unexpectedly fast, the launch was supposed to happen arround the end of this fiscal year, i guess it will be preponed now to a much earlier date. Kudos Tata Motors.

Truly a proud moment for all Indians, first time an Indian made car of Indian market has scored a 5 star Global N-CAP rating with side impact testings as well.
And that is none other than our own TATA Nexon. Fully designed and developed in India with a 1.5l diesel and 1.2l turbo petrol both of which are fully indigenous engines. #SaferCarsForIndia.

Learn from Tata ? Tata has the tech of jaguars and rovers now. Maruti can't match that.
That's what they should learn from TATA. To find a proper partner to produce better cars for the future..the tin cans that they are selling ryt now will all become obsolete once the new safety norms are in place.

Maruti isn't making good cars so that it can earn profit.
In long term as income levels go up, Maruti will either improve or disappear. Let's hope that Tata & Mahindra don't go that way before we have to import automoblies too.

Maruti has the early entrant advantage, compared to others.

Maruti was able to expand its sales and service network when capital costs were low. They are reaping the benefits now in passenger car segment.

The fact that Maruti has not gone into electric manufacturing yet, means they are behind.

Maruti primary focus is passenger car segment, where as Mahindra and Tata it is not.

Moreover, they assemble it mostly, not manufacturing parts.
