Can't we even make a bayonet in India?
I believe it's just part of the package, along with cleaning kits etc,
perhaps SIG got it made in (south, of course) Korea at some contractor hence it has got that marking ?

as for our ability to make bayonets here...why even thinking like that bhai we've been making bayonets for all of our service weapons that we made here,
SMLE//Ishapore 2A-2A1,
1A SLR,
INSAS,
various AKs made here,
even those 9mm Sterling "carbines" had bayonets available...

Any hope for further Sig-716 purchase after this Russian hafta deal of AK-203?
Wouldn't you wish for AR type rifles to be developed by Indian companies? After all, their patents are expired and countries around the world are using that design to develop their own rifles.

Hope SSS can get the hint and pick it up. They can capture the domestic police forces and paramilitary market while using them as a test case for Army in the future, since OFB-derivatives will take time to regroup after the recent restructuring.
