Liberals world over have this same khujli. They are themselves amoral but like to paint every conservative as such. This SJW B.S. needs to be put down, at least where the Armed Forces are concerned. The government and Supreme Court must firmly plant their foot down to ensure such riff-raff is not allowed to needlessly try out their SJW mental gymnastics on the Indian Armed Forces.

These morons don't have the same integrity as the Armed Forces and therefore proceed to play dirty by trying to denigrate Armed Forces in the eyes of the public (who have traditionally considered Armed Forces to be one of the three most honurable institutions in this nation). This is a disgusting form of turf battle waged by these IPS, IAS types. One can only hope that the current government takes cognizance of this fact and moves to induce a change in this rotting IAS, IPS babus set up by introducing a cadre review, while at the same time continuing to expand its policy of lateral entry.

But this type of hit piece being published in The Wire is no surprise. Makes me think that this Government needs to create a law where the journalist can be held accountable for blatant lies and the op-ed author can be held accountable for defamation, at least. But then it makes me think maybe its better that these a$$holes are exposing themselves. These anti-national elements will not go away simply by bringing in a law. The poison whose spread is before everyone's eyes to see now, will all go underground once such a law is brought to bear down upon them. Adversity will cause them to use more sophisticated disinformation methods, they will grow stronger, more resilient. So the only viable solution is to allow the masses to understand the concept of critical thinking as well as the pattern recogntion capability to recognize how the narrative is turned against them and how they are made to hate their country. Once these things enter the common consciousness on the citizens of India, no amount of propaganda by anti-Indian elements will be able to harm the social fabric of this nation.

Of course this needs to be made an integral part of the education system to ensure that subsequent generations automatically become immune to these mind games. Another pre-requisite is factual-rebuttal channels and content creators that can flood the social media and popular places like YouTube with factual rebuttal to such hit-pieces and disinformation campaigns within minutes to hours of such disinformation campaigns. That way, the anti-nationals will keep on exposing themselves and the public will also learn to understand their mental gymnastic patterns.

A sniper course was taught at the Infantry School until 1970, but disappeared as we switched from 7.62 to 5.56 with no replacement for the Lee Enfield .303 No 4 Mark 1(T) Rifle. The IA even had a sniper section of 10 men directly under the CO until the 50s which also disappeared.

Correct. Today we have lost an understanding of what a Sniper/Scout role is. We use Designated marksmen as a substitute. This includes Special Forces.
