it's ridiculous really. They are not able to buy even a fraction of the guns required post Kargil in 1999 ( a quarter century ago) and make up unrealistic requirements to delay things further.

so towed artillery now ? maybe they can get this "LIGHTER VERSATILE AND MORE ADVANCED THAN ATAGS TOWED ARTILLERY" in form of those upgraded M-46 155mm conversions then just strap some of the stuff off ATAGS on it and good to go

Pls convince Chinese to wait for AI/ML laser ignition fuel cell VR and other stuffs

But that doesn't make sense in ordering just 300 nos which is nothing but typical Indian piecemeal orders and won't provide the numerical advantage to neither military nor manufacturer
It's a well planned move to keep the cost high and damage our budding mic in order to negotiate for foreign equipments
