Does anyone know if these aircraft are suitable for high altitude ops? for example would they be deployed in a future hypothetical mountain conflict against china?

@gazi2202,

which aircraft are you referring to? Because I see plenty of aircraft here, the Su-30MkI? the Mig-21? the Mig-29? the Mig-27? the Mirage-2000? the Jaguar IS/IM? Or are you talking about transport aircraft? The Il-76s, An 12s and An 32s? all of which are capable of high altitude ops. Along the Chinese border, particularly at Chabua, Tezpur and Bareily under the Eastern Command, are stationed the Su-30 MKI's; and under the Central Command, Mig-23/Mig-27 Floggers at Hashimara, Jaguars at Gorakhpur, Mig-21s at Bakshi Ka Talab, and Mig-25R Foxbats at Lucknow, which if you'll remember are the same aircraft that broke the sound barrier at Mach 2 in a reconnaissance mission over Pakistani airspace a few years ago.
